Anjali’s mother always asks Ganesh who broke his dreams, but he never tells her. When Anjali’s mother explains that her son had gone to court to fight his first case, he returns as a loser and hasn’t earned a penny for this family since then. She leaves from there.
Anjali asks Ganesh, who forced him to leave the court. He says he is a corrupt lawyer who sold the law for money and comments on him. The guests ask Raghav where Abhay and Ginny are. Raghav says they will come in a while and asks Ishani to call Ginny and Abhay. Ishani agrees and leaves.
When Ginny is getting ready for her wedding anniversary, the Rajput family girls come and praise her. They tell Ginny that Nandini will not attend.
Nandini Abhay’s mother is urged not to show the hatred between each other in the family to outsiders. Kamala tries to convince Nandini Abhay’s mother to attend the party. Nandini remains silent. Vaibhav comes and asks Nandini to go to the party. If not, it will not look good in front of the guests. Kamala believes that Nandini will not attend the anniversary because she is only a stepmother. Anjali recalls how Kamala had chosen her for her grandson Abhay after seeing her in the temple. She mentions that Abhay had started calling her, expressing his love for her after hearing about her from Kamala. Anjali then brings up the incident where her sister Ginny secretly took Abhay’s phone number, met him as Anjali, and ended up marrying him. She questions how a sister could do such things to her own family and makes a comment about it. In response, Anjali’s mother tells her to stay outside the party.
It is shown that Ginny and the Rajput family are at the party celebrating Ginny and Abhay’s wedding anniversary. Upon dropping her mother off at Rajput’s house, Anjali asks her mother to think twice before entering, saying that the Rajputs will certainly insult her. Ginny’s mother tells Anjali that she won’t allow that to happen.
