Padma kindly provides Ganesh with food from a Bhandara, which brings up emotions for Anjali. She inquires if her father must consume the charity meal. Padma insists that she cannot let an elderly man go hungry. Meanwhile, Ginni fabricated a story to Nandini about Sapna returning her earnings and giving 100 rs for Diwali sweets. Nandini is skeptical of this information. Ginni remembers Anjali returning the money and confronting her, which leads her to claim that her mother gave the 100 rs stubbornly.
Abhay scolds Ginni for humiliating her mother and making her work as a maid. He scolds her, calling her a “cheap girl” who will do anything for personal gain. Nandini defends Ginni, claiming she was following her orders. Abhay then reveals that he saw Sapna leaving with another woman. Ginni becomes flustered and insists that her mother is alone. Abhay cautions Nandini not to trust Ginni, citing how she had deceived and married him in the past and could do anything for her benefit. He confesses his desire to see Anjali today and be greeted by her beautiful face, as she was the first to say “I love you” to him, and he only has feelings for her. However, Nandini warns him to forget Anjali and focus on his current relationship with Ginni.
During the heated phone call, Ginni accuses Anjali of attempting to ruin her marriage by showing up in front of Abhay. Anjali refutes these claims. Undeterred, Ginni declares she will not allow Anjali to tear apart her family. An emotional Anjali reveals that she is struggling financially, and Padma brought food from a community kitchen to feed their father. Ginni questions how Anjali plans to pay for their father’s medical expenses. Anjali responds that she will take care of it by visiting the court and searching for employment tomorrow.
The following day, Anjali arrives at the court premises. She is met with ridicule and mocking from the lawyers present for her attempt to challenge Raghav, considered the top lawyer in the area. Finding that her desk and typewriter have gone missing, she learns from Bhajan that he has sold them. Shortly after, Raghav enters with his team and declares that he will no longer permit Anjali to enter the court premises. Feeling frustrated, Anjali questions how she can make a living now.
As Yuvraj arrives, he hands her a bowl and requests that she beg. He then places a coin in the bowl, claiming to have given her the initial alms. Raghav and his entire team proceed to humiliate her before leaving. Anjali is left standing, tears in her eyes. A kind man approaches and offers her a seat, inquiring about what happened. Anjali explains that she needs money for her father’s treatment and is only able to gather evidence against the perpetrator if he recovers. The dramatic situation persists…
