Goons try to molest, kidnap, and harm Padma. Anjali defends Padma from Yuvraj’s friends. Goons ask who Padma is. She says she is Advocate Anjali Awasthi, a terror inside and outside the courtroom. Aman passes by his car and notices Anjali’s fight. Aman beats the goon who runs towards Anjali. Goons flee. Anjali comforts Padma and asks what her name is. Padma responds that she is Padma.
In the Rajput house, pooja begins. Ginny’s MIL picks up an aarti thali. Ginny stops her and says it’s her first pooja after marriage, and she wants to perform pooja. Nivedita’s husband says anyone can perform aarti. She takes an aarti thali from her mother-in-law and performs the aarti, leaving everyone stunned.
When Anjali returns home with groceries, her mother asks her where she got the money. She says she found a new client. The mother says she lied and got groceries on credit. She gets angry and tries to punish her. Father Ganesh protects Anjali. Mother says Stepney told Anjali to fight someone. Ganesh asks what happened. She said some goons were attacking a girl; she saved her and suggested she file a police complaint, but the girl refused, so she filed a police complaint on her behalf.
She asks her driver who sent the gifts. The driver says Ginny, madam, and asks her to call Ginny. Anjali calls Ginny. She speaks with Ginny in a humiliating tone and says tomorrow is her first marriage anniversary. Her papa must still be wearing torn blazers and shoes, so she wants her parents to wear the dresses she sent and attend the party. Mother speaks to Ginny. She invites Ginny to her anniversary party.
Ganesh confiscates Ginny’s phone, making it clear that she is no longer welcome to contact them after taking advantage of her sister. He discards the gifts she gave as a reminder of her disrespect. Ginny spitefully remarks to Anjali that their father probably tossed out the presents, but Anjali can still attend the party and enjoy some good food before sneaking off unnoticed. Anjali questions if Ginny views them as lowly beggars. Ginny mocks their living situation, stating that they are in no position to dream of luxuries like hers. Undeterred, Anjali confidently declares that one day, she will become a renowned advocate and fulfill their father’s aspirations.
During a conversation with Ginny’s MIL, she questions her about giving gifts to her parents and humiliates her, saying her father was useless and cheap like a crow, and she, too, was cheap like him. Nivedita shouts at Padma and asks where she has been until now. She nervously says she had gone to Kavya’s house to give Prasad. Nivedita asks who took so long and where she is. Padma claims she was late. Ginny’s MIL asks why she arrived late.
