Varun is stunned when Rajini admits that Anupama matters deeply, not emotionally but strategically. Rajini bluntly clarifies that she was never protecting Varun. She was protecting the money linked to the chawl redevelopment deal. In her view, politics is unstable, and income must flow from multiple directions. Whether Varun joins politics or not, she plans to secure enough financial power so he can live freely without limits.
Back in the chawl, Anupama continues praising Rajini’s kindness, completely unaware of the manipulation at play. Preet teases Bharti about Varun, and Bharti’s shy blush quickly becomes the chawl’s newest source of entertainment, lightening the atmosphere for a moment.
At Rajini’s house, she instructs Varun to apologise to Anupama and Prem, not emotionally but strategically. She then reveals her next move, arranging Varun’s marriage.
