Devika inquires with Anupama about why she never mentioned Gulati to her. Anupama responds by stating that there is no need to discuss insignificant people. Devika points out that both Vanraj and Anuj, who are Anupama’s exes, have different attitudes towards her – Vanraj constantly belittles her while Anuj is supportive. She then brings up something she has observed and asks if Anupama has feelings for Anuj. Meanwhile, Vanraj is searching for his phone and asks his son Ansh if he has seen it. When Ansh denies seeing the phone, Vanraj insists he tells the truth. Kavya notes that Vanraj is possessive about his phone and doesn’t want anyone else to see it. Just then, Mahi arrives and inquires about what they are looking for. Ansh informs her that they cannot find Vanraj’s phone. Mahi locates the phone and hands it to Vanraj before he leaves the room.
Devika questions Anupama about her reaction to Anuj’s decision to marry Shruti. She expresses her disbelief at how he could move on so quickly and doubts the sincerity of his previous love. Devika also brings up the time when Anuj had requested Anupama to take care of his daughter instead of hiring help, calling him a bad person and expressing her dislike for him. In response, Anupama explains that it was ultimately her decision to leave and questions if she should expect Anuj to wait for her forever. She defends Anuj’s request for her help by pointing out that Aadhya needed her as a mother figure and no one else could fill that role. Devika then asks if this means Anupama still has feelings for him, pushing her to admit the truth. Meanwhile, Anuj wonders why Devika took a cab instead of using her car and decides to discuss Gulati with Anupama later.
Shruti rummages through Anuj’s cupboard, taking out his shirt and embracing it. In the process, she accidentally knocks over his diary which falls to the ground. As she picks it up, her eyes fall on a dry gajra garland and Anuj’s heartfelt poetry written within its pages. A sense of panic overtakes her as she contemplates returning to India or reaching out to them somehow. She questions whether Anuj and Anupama are deceiving Aadhya and turns to Devika for reassurance. Desperately, she pleads with Anupama to declare her love for Anuj, even calling upon Samar as a symbol of their bond. And finally, tearfully, Anupama confesses that despite death itself, her love for Anuj persists. Just then, Anuj approaches the door but pauses upon hearing this emotional exchange between him and his beloved Anu. Overjoyed by her words, he realizes that even in this moment, her love for him remains unwavering.
It is impossible for this marriage to happen without proof, Vanraj says. He turns to see Mahi standing. Mahi asks who can’t get married. Vanraj lied that he was telling his friend that he could not get his son married without me. Mahi asked why you were lying, Papa? He threatened to send her to a hostel. She said she would not tell and left. Vanraj praised the fact that nobody heard him.
Even now, Anupama says she still loves him, and feels pain when he gets even a scratch. She smiles. Anupama tells Anuj that he has moved on with Shruti, and that she used to feel pain whenever she saw Aadhya and him with Shruti. Despite not being able to keep him happy, Shruti will keep him happy. Anuj hears her. She says Anuj and Aadhya got the girl and mother as they wanted.
Titu asks Kanha ji to help him, and says he wants to tell the truth, but is afraid of what she will do. He says he didn’t know she was so romantic. Dimpy comes to him and takes him to one side. She kisses on his cheek and says this is for cooking delicious food. She says she’ll make him make food, and it seems like a dream, and she’s about to tell him about Samar, but she stops.
She says she never tried to get Anuj back, when he went to Maya for Choti, and even now when he is marrying Shruti for Choti. She says she got betrayed and cannot betray others. Shruti has been with Anuj for the last four years and is weaving the dream of marriage with him. When Shruti was shot for me, she said she took the bullet on herself, and she said she would not let their marriage be canceled. She embraced Devika and cried.
Titu tells Dimpy he understands Samar was part of her life. Dimpy says Samar had seen many dreams about Ansh. Titu says we will fulfill all his dreams. When Dimpy asks him to speak, he says nobody is here. He says he wants to talk about his past. As soon as he gets a call, he is shocked. He tells Dimpy that his friend suffered an accident and he will be in town before sangeet.
As Anupama tells Devika, she will not hear from Anuj that he loves her, but she wants to hear from Choti, and then she will live her life.
She cries and vents out her feelings. Dimpy applies spray to her sprained leg. She says I want to be strong like Mummy and ignore Toshu’s taunts. She says their relationship is like death, and Toshu taunts her a great deal. She says he wants to stay back, but I have to go for my career and future. She says we have to stand up for ourselves just like Mummy.
Anuj thinks of Anupama and sits on the road. He says, “I don’t know what will happen to this relationship, but I love you Anu,” and cries.

During the sangeet, Dimpy dances with Kavya and Kinjal. Anuj smiles looking at Anupama. Shruti panics when Aadhya doesn’t answer.
