Shruti and Anuj are also in the car with Anupama. Shruti asks Anuj if she should tell ant and elephant jokes and says that the silence is killing her. Yashdeep tells Anupama he gets scared of awkward silence and says we, army people, are used to gun sounds, but we can’t stand silence. Affirming that he is in the army, Anupama says Jai Hind and that she is meeting an army soldier for the first time.

Vakya says Pakhi is wrong and that your blind support destroyed her house. She asks him if Adhik will get Ishani’s custody after that. She asks him to tell Pakhi to patch up with Adhik and to do what a responsible father-in-law does. Vanraj sees Titu and Dimpy playing with the children. She asks him not to snatch respect.

A few years after serving in the army, Yashdeep says he took retirement and returned to his village when Beeji called him. He asks how did she get here? Anupama says destiny brought her here and tells her everything. He says Bade Bhaiyya made the chef wash the utensils. She says she doesn’t complain, and he has been doing her many favors.

Aadhya tells Shruti they will have a destination wedding. She feels they should move to India and says we came out on Maharsankranti because we felt alone.

Yashdeep and Anupama are poles apart, according to Anupama. They salute Yashdeep. He says he will be their boss for a few days and says they will work and be disciplined. Anupama asks if you will have anything. He says he takes bread, butter, and jelly.

Kinjal tells Angel that she doesn’t want to go to belly class because the teacher is strict. Kinjal asks her to take her to the place where the Indian lady is dancing. Toshu arrives. She says breakfast is ready.

Rahul says butter means peanut butter, and jelly means jam. Anupama apologizes and says she will make another sandwich. Yashdeep thinks he will eat and signs it is good.

Shruti tells Anuj that he cannot pick her up. Aadhya asks if he is going somewhere, shocking them. She responds that he is unwell.

Dimpy is in the kitchen. She senses someone and takes the roller to hit. Titu keeps his hand on her mouth and says he came to drink water because he was thirsty. They look at each other. He asks her not to shout. She drops the roller on the floor. Vanraj asks who’s there. Dimpy and Titu are concerned.

Anuj calls Devika. Devika picks up the call and says hello to Anuj. Anuj says hello to Devika. Anuj says Anuj….you remembered me so early and think you should have called me after 10-15 years. Anuj says you know everything and that he has isolated himself from everyone. Devika says if you were right in front of me, I would have made your chutney. Anuj asks her to do whatever she wants, but he does not know if Anu is in America. She says you might know about her.

Dimpy asks Vanraj what she’s doing in the kitchen and why she didn’t reply to him. She says she had cotton in her ear, so she didn’t listen. Vanraj finds the window open and says you have closed it. Dimpy says no. Vanraj checks it and closes it. Dimpy leaves. Titu is still hiding out the window so Vanraj won’t think they’re wrong.

Anuj pleads with Devika, asking for information about Anupama. Devika reminds him that he has divorced her and is now engaged to an NRI girl. Anuj persists, wanting details about Anupama’s whereabouts, and even swears their friendship to gain her cooperation. Devika confirms that Anu is currently in America but admits that she doesn’t have any further information on her location. Anupama lost her phone and diary, making it difficult for them to reconnect. Anuj struggles to believe this and demands the name of the restaurant where she went to work. Devika assures him that she is telling the truth and promises to inform him if she finds out more. Overcome with emotion, Anuj confesses that he cannot live without her and hangs up the call.
