Anupama 20th October 2024 Written Episode begins with Anupama looking for Aadhya, also known as Rahi. She tells Prem that the girl was right there, but he assures her that she has left. He holds her hand and asks her not to worry, saying her mannat will be fulfilled. Anupama admits that when he speaks with such confidence, her hope turns into belief. She tells him that she has arranged a Maha Yagya at the ghat the next day and asks if he will come. Prem promises to be there, and Anupama thanks him.
At the Ashram, Aadhya washes the floor and sweeps it clean, saying she cannot decorate but she can keep things tidy. Vyas, Bubblechand, and the children arrive to wish her happy birthday. She decides to celebrate for the kids’ happiness. Vyas reminds her that she started the custom of leaving hand impressions on the wall, and asks her to do the same. Later, she cuts a simple bun instead of a cake, and the children sing happy birthday. When they ask about a real cake, she silently prays to Annapurna to provide food for her children.
Elsewhere, Anupama shares her wish with the Pandit, saying there is nothing better than feeding poor children on Dussehra. She decides to prepare food, and the Pandit assures her that Dwarkadeesh will make everything right. Ansh happily says that Anupama’s yagya will surely bring Aadhya back. Just then, Vyas approaches and says he overheard them. He requests food for the hungry children of his orphanage, Shishu Chaaya Ashram. Anupama agrees, and he apologises for not picking them up earlier, explaining that the girl he sent has a problem with Ahmedabad and avoids it. When Anupama asks her name, he says it is Rahi. The name feels familiar to Anupama, and Ansh confirms that she is the same girl who saved her purse. Anupama asks him to bring the children to the ghat for food. The kids rejoice at the news, while Rahi questions Vyas about the lady, but he avoids telling her.
At the Shah house, Pakhi talks to Ishani about not eating on the set. Dolly overhears and feels jealous that everyone gets to talk to their daughters except her. Pari mentions that Meenu had called them two days back and is now a psychologist. Dolly curses Anupama, saying she should never get her daughter back. Mahi intervenes with faith, saying Anupama will find her child with the blessing of Dwarkadeesh.
Later, Rahi struggles to take the kids along. Bubblechand complains that it is too far. To help them, Rahi places banana leaves on their heads to protect them from the sun. She prays for the lady who will feed them. The children suggest she make that lady her mother, but Rahi firmly says she can only see her as God, not as a mother.
Meanwhile, Anupama prepares a special thali for her daughter. Mahi writes Maa with rice on a plate, believing it to be the best gift. Pakhi criticises Anupama, saying she only cares for Choti. Mahi replies that she still misses Kavya. Ishani warns her that when Aadhya returns, she will lose everything, but Mahi insists what is hers will always be hers.
At the ghat, Anupama begins to make a rangoli of Aadhya’s face. Despite being tired from cooking, she works on it with love. A sudden gust of wind threatens to wipe it away, but the women help her cover it. They admire the rangoli, saying Dwarkadeesh himself will protect it. Anupama feels hopeful.
On the way, the children grow tired. Rahi tries to find a lift but fails. Prem arrives in his jeep, and the children are offered a ride. Rahi is reluctant but ends up sitting with them when she nearly falls and Prem steadies her. He gives the hungry kids laddoos, and they thank him. Before leaving, he tells Rahi that not everything is done for money, some people are saathi and some are saarthi. He hints that she may become his saarthi one day. He even feeds her a laddoo that he made himself.
As the kids go to see the mela, Prem says they will meet again if Kanha ji wishes. Anupama, Ansh, and Prem then sit together for the yagya at the ghat. Aadhya also arrives, and while walking she accidentally steps on the rangoli Anupama made of her. Shocked, she sees the resemblance and drops the peacock feather in her hand. With tears in her eyes, she whispers “Mummy.” Anupama, sensing her, opens her eyes and sees her daughter. Just as she is about to call her, Aadhya cries silently.
Precap: Anupama declares her vanvas has ended as she has found her daughter. Aadhya pushes her away, saying their relationship is dead. Anupama insists she will not leave without her, but Aadhya tells her she belongs to the orphanage, not to her. Anupama pleads that she is the daughter of Anuj and herself.
