Anupama 26th August 2024 Written Episode begins with Megha waking her husband in the middle of the night, showing him Aadhya’s sketches. She points out how the drawings have shifted from sad to happy and feels something is off. Her husband brushes it off as mood swings, saying she might have accepted her situation due to fear. Megha suggests they leave the city, but he refuses, citing his job as a medical college dean. She urges him to at least take a few days’ leave.

They wake Aadhya and tell her they’re going to the farmhouse. Aadhya, secretly hoping her mother will find her, cleverly insists they go after Janmashtami. Viren agrees. Meanwhile, Anupama, feeling dizzy, prays to Kanha ji and thinks about giving Anuj the best birthday gift. She spots a girl who resembles Aadhya but doesn’t get a clear look. She recalls the temple sighting and wonders if the woman with her was Megha. Turning to leave, she notices a sketch on the window.

Elsewhere, Vanraj wakes Baa and insists that they should finalize Meenu’s wedding. He flashes back to a suspicious moment he witnessed between Meenu and Sagar.

At Megha’s house, Aadhya is having dinner with Viren and Megha when Anupama rings the doorbell. Megha reacts irritably but tells Aadhya to go to her room. Viren opens the door, and Anupama returns ₹30 that she was overpaid earlier. Megha is surprised she came just for that. Anupama claims she was nearby delivering food and suddenly pretends to faint. Concerned, Viren and Megha bring her in and offer her water and a place to rest.

As Anupama pretends to recover, Aadhya notices the door is ajar and peeks out. Anupama subtly tries to see into the room. Megha urges her husband to take Anupama to a doctor, but Anupama declines, saying she feels better. She thanks them and offers to bring prasad for their daughter. Megha quickly refuses. As Anupama leaves, she finally spots Aadhya peeking out. They lock eyes, and Anupama becomes emotional.

Aadhya imagines running into her mother’s arms and revealing everything — only to be attacked by Megha in her imagination. Anupama is about to call out to her, but Aadhya gestures for her not to. Understanding the fear and control Aadhya is under, Anupama plays along. She asks about Viren’s phone, picks it up for him, and takes her leave calmly.

Outside, Anupama processes the situation and realizes Aadhya is being threatened, remembering the sketch of a girl in a cage. Inside, Aadhya prays that her mother will now save her. She is thankful Anupama didn’t react, knowing Megha’s possessiveness could be dangerous.

Meanwhile, Megha notices the word “Choti” written in sauce on Aadhya’s plate and grows suspicious.
