Barkha taunts Paakhi. Paakhi’s sorry also has no value like such mangoes; people get excited seeing the season’s first mangoes, but nobody looks at them after 2 months in a fridge; earlier Adhik valued her sorry but not now; her mother says relationships are meaningless without love; she does not respect Adhik and Adhik no longer loves her.
In her mind, Paakhi is right, loads of mangoes have no value just like her provocative words; she used to pay attention to Barkha, but now she doesn’t. Nevertheless, she says, let’s concentrate on Anupama’s farewell arrangements. Barkha says she won’t do anything. Paakhi says she’ll let Anuj know the same thing. Barkha gets tensed. Paakhi says let’s make mummy’s special day extra special.
Anuj and Anupama are filled with emotion as they part ways. Anuj expresses that though he doesn’t want to, he must return home. Similarly, Anupama shares that she doesn’t want to see him leave either. Despite his excitement for her farewell party, Anuj also feels a sense of sadness. Anupama shares the same sentiment. Concerned about her foot injury, Anuj stands up and looks at her. She assures him that it will heal with herbal paste. As Anuj prepares to leave, he promises to cherish this moment in his memory and watches over her before heading out. The familiar tune of the serial’s title track plays in the background as Anuj departs for home.
Maaya inquires if Anuj had taken care of his office tasks. Anuj confirms that he did. She then wonders if she should prepare lunch for him. But, he declines, as he receives a call from his colleagues and schedules a meeting for after lunch. Maaya realizes she was worried unnecessarily. Suddenly, she notices a bindi on Anuj’s shirt and feels panicked. She imagines Anuj mocking her with Anupama by his side, discussing their plans to move to America with their daughter while sending Maaya to a mental health facility. In a moment of desperation, she screams “no!” and takes a sip of water, determined to maintain her composure no matter what may happen. She reminds herself to consider alternate possibilities in case Anupama does not end up going to America.
Leela and Kinjal were busy preparing a feast for Anupama, when Kinjal was joined by Leela. However, Leela couldn’t help but feel a sense of sadness as she reflected on her past treatment of Anupama. She admitted to never fully respecting her until she became her daughter-in-law and never allowing her to cook the food she wanted. It wasn’t until Anupama was pregnant that Leela began to take care of her. Despite their rocky relationship, Anupama always showed respect towards Leela. But now, with Anupama’s impending departure, Leela feared they were like bitter neem and sweet honey. This sentiment was shared by Kinjal who suggested they focus on making Anupama’s farewell special. Just then, Dimpy arrived and offered to help in any way she could. Kinjal eagerly requested that Dimpy make something special for Anupama, to which Dimpy agreed with an apologetic tone towards Leela. In response, Leela smiled and gave her permission while Dimpy couldn’t contain her excitement at the thought of making Anupama’s favorite cake.
Anuj looks at his and Anupama’s wedding photos lying on bed. Tanhayiii.. song plays in the background. He goes out of the room to check on the arrangements. When Maaya enters, she tears up angrily, wondering how to cope with seeing Anuj and Anupama together. Kanta asks Anupama if her sari looks good. She says yes. Leela’s message arrives. Kanta asks if it’s Leela’s message since she messaged her several times to attend the party with Bhavesh. Anupama says Leela is good.
Leela acknowledges that she is well aware of her own tendencies, having never allowed Anupama to stay with her maternal family for the past 26 years. She had also expressed disapproval when Anupama adopted Little Anu, but is now overjoyed with Kavya’s pregnancy. Understanding Leela’s sadness over her impending departure, Anupama suggests letting go and focusing on the special farewell party that Leela is arranging for her. Anupama encourages everyone to shower their love on her during this time. Kanta agrees and expresses concern about the need for a party at Anuj’s house when there will already be one at Leela’s. However, Anupama explains that Paakhi had requested they attend the party at their house since it belongs to both her and Anuj. Kanta worries about Maaya causing drama, but Anupama reassures her not to worry and reminds them that she only has 4 days left before leaving and wants to cherish every moment with happiness. This makes Kanta emotional, but Anupama consoles her by saying that everything will be alright.
