Anupama 27th September 2024 Written Episode Update begins with Anupama receiving a contract letter. She stops the courier man, offers him sweets, and thanks him. Anuj tells her that even though she had given up hope, he never did. He encourages her to sit and read. Anupama asks him to read it since the English is difficult. Anuj reads it aloud while everyone watches. Nandita wonders aloud why Anupama and Anuj, who clearly love each other, do not marry. Anupama replies that since Mr. Mehta’s son prepared the contract, it must be correct. Anuj stops her and says that she should never sign something without reading it, as trusting blindly had cost him before. He tells her to go through it first. After he leaves, Anupama thinks she will one day free him from all pain.
Aadhya later hugs Anuj, happy to see him still waiting for Anupama with the same devotion. Anuj tells her he is trying to convince Anupama, but she is hesitant because she does not want to hurt them again. Aadhya assures him of her love, and Anuj says he can do anything for her.
Meanwhile, Sagar worries because Dolly and Baa took Meenu somewhere, and he could not follow. Soon, Toshu and Pakhi arrive dancing just as Dolly, Baa, and Meenu return. Meenu looks sad. Dolly announces that she has fixed Meenu’s marriage with a rich doctor. Baa praises the match, and Dimpy seems pleased. Sagar is devastated. Anupama asks if Meenu was forced, but Meenu claims it is her own decision and insists she does not owe anyone an explanation. Toshu and Pakhi boast that the groom’s family has invited them to stay in their big house.
Anupama remains worried. Later, Dolly asks for Meenu, but when Dimpy checks her room, she is gone. Everyone panics, and Dolly accuses Anupama of helping her daughter elope with Sagar. Anuj warns her not to misbehave with Anupama. Just then, Meenu and Sagar arrive wearing garlands and announce that they are married. Shock spreads across the family. Sagar admits they had no option left but to marry secretly.
Toshu angrily throws a glass at Sagar, but Meenu catches it and throws it back. She warns Toshu never to misbehave with her husband, while Sagar warns against insulting his wife. Dolly orders Meenu to remove her sindoor, garland, and mangalsutra. Baa says a marriage without family consent is not valid. Dolly tries to wipe away Meenu’s sindoor, but Anupama stops her, saying it is a sin to erase sindoor. She scolds Toshu and Pakhi, reminding them they too had eloped. Meenu defends herself, saying Dolly never asked her before fixing her marriage and that she and Sagar had wanted blessings but were pushed into this decision.
Baa accuses Meenu of shaming her mother, but Meenu argues back. Dolly blames Anupama, saying she inspired the young couple with her own hashtag love story. Soon, Pakhi and Aadhya argue. Pakhi almost raises her hand on Aadhya, but Anuj warns her not to touch any child. He asks Aadhya to stay out of elders’ matters.
Sagar then asks Anupama if she will welcome her new daughter-in-law. Meenu also asks if Anupama thinks their marriage is wrong. Anupama replies that love itself is not wrong, but eloping and marrying was wrong when their family was still standing by them. She reminds Meenu that Dolly acted out of love and concern as her mother, not out of hatred.
Precap: Anupama tells Meenu she has hurt her mother. Meenu apologises to Dolly, but Dolly breaks down, saying she will never accept Sagar. She curses Anupama, declaring that she will never find happiness through her own daughter.
