Anupama 29th October 2024 Written Episode begins with Baa expressing her worry that evening is approaching and the family still has not managed to arrange any money. Toshu says he asked one of their old clients for help, but the client refused. Baa fears that Diwali might bring darkness to their home this year. Dolly blames Anupama, calling her inauspicious for entering the house on Dussehra.
Anupama calmly assures everyone that the money will be arranged. Baa asks how that could happen, while Dolly questions where such a large amount could come from. Anupama replies that it will come somehow. Pakhi accuses her of hiding money, but Anupama responds that even Pakhi and Kinjal keep money aside, so she should not be blamed.
Just then, Ansh, Mahi, and Pari come forward and offer their savings to Anupama. She thanks them warmly and says that for now, the money is arranged. She adds that if she needs more next time, she will ask them. Dolly taunts her for asking children for money, but Ansh stands up for Anupama, asking Dolly not to insult her. He says he is not as patient as Anupama. Touched, Anupama tells her grandchildren that she is proud of them for being kind, truthful, and honest. She says these values are something even her own children did not fully learn from her.
Toshu asks for the money, saying he will hand it to Jigar Bhai. Anupama insists that she will give it herself, but Toshu must apologise to Janki Behen and the other women he misbehaved with. She reminds him that they are not servants but hardworking homemakers who deserve respect. Toshu refuses, claiming he should not apologise as the owner. Baa intervenes and says she will make him understand.
Outside, Anupama removes Aadhya’s photo from her locket and almost removes Anuj’s photo when Aadhya bumps into her, causing the locket to fall. Aadhya sees Anuj’s photo and assumes her mother’s love for her is fake. Just then, a jeweller arrives, asking for the locket. Anupama reluctantly sells it, feeling deep pain as she parts with Anuj’s memory. The jeweller hands her the money, and she thanks him. Aadhya questions how she could sell her father’s last keepsake, unable to see her mother’s emotional turmoil.
Prem arrives and returns Anupama’s house keys, saying he found them earlier. He explains that he was nearby taking photos of Kaveri and Gauri. His kind words motivate Anupama to stay strong. Ansh watches and grows suspicious of Prem’s intentions. Anupama asks Prem to count the money before she leaves.
Later, she goes to Jigar to hand over the money. He taunts her and refuses to return the house keys until she pays six months’ rent in advance. Despite her pleading, he remains unmoved. Heartbroken, Anupama walks away, feeling guilty for selling Anuj’s last memory without gaining anything in return. She reflects that Anuj may be far but still close to her heart, while Aadhya is near yet distant in emotion. She laments that she thought this Diwali would be bright because her daughter had returned, but once again, it feels dark.
Meanwhile, Prem and his friends light up a lantern shop and take selfies, enjoying the glow. Nearby, Anupama and Aadhya both notice the lanterns but stand apart. After Anupama leaves, Aadhya hears a woman scolding children for asking money and trying to bargain with a shopkeeper. Aadhya confronts the woman for her cruelty and decides to help the children herself. She offers to work for the shopkeeper in exchange for food for the kids. The shopkeeper asks if she can sweep the floor, and she agrees.
Prem, who witnesses this, is impressed by Aadhya’s kindness. He offers her money, but she refuses, choosing to work instead. After cleaning, she ensures the children are fed and even teaches them to throw their plates in the dustbin. Prem claps, admiring her genuine compassion.
Just then, a postman arrives asking for Krishna Kunj. Prem points to Aadhya’s house, but she denies it. He asks her to help, and she signs for the parcel without checking the sender’s name. Prem overhears the postman saying that it is fortunate someone mentioned Asha Bhavan residents now stay at Krishna Kunj, or the parcel would have been returned again.
When Aadhya and Prem reach home, Aadhya gives the parcel to Anupama and leaves. Prem tells Anupama he saw Aadhya at the market and offered her a ride. He also mentions that the parcel had been returning from Asha Bhavan for many years and asks her to open it, suggesting it might contain something she once lost.
Anupama opens the box and finds the words “Anu Tumhara Anuj” written on it. Overwhelmed, she clutches the parcel close to her chest. When Prem asks if everything is fine, she softly says Anuj’s name. He advises her to go somewhere peaceful to open it. Anupama runs to the park, crying with joy, and lovingly kisses the parcel, cherishing this long-awaited connection. Prem follows her quietly, watching her emotions unfold.
Precap: Anupama tearfully says that after so many years, this parcel reached her through her daughter. She reads Anuj’s letter and finds a chain pendant inside. The letter says that Choti is precious to them and that he is coming back. Overjoyed, Anupama says, “I love you.”
