Anupama is reading the book. Aadhya looks at her and thinks that Anupama is trying to impress Pops. In Dimpy’s room, Ansh tells her that he has brushed his teeth, spoken to Baa and Babu in Gujrati, and apologized to Mahi and Ishu. He hugs her. Dimpy says you did well. Ansh asks if the stepfather is not good.
The Dimpy asks who told you about step fathers. Ansh says he heard Dadu and Babu ji talking about step fathers. He asks if step fathers are bad. Dimpy says they are just words and relationships are made with heart and love. When Ansh asks if step dad will beat me, he replies that he wants his Dadu and not step father. Dimpy wonders why Papa is doing this.
She sings a bhajan and performs tulsi puja. Anuj listens to it while sitting in Shruti’s room. Shruti wakes up and asks if she heard it. Anupama prays for everyone and her competition. Anuj tells Shruti he’s coming and going. Anupama apologizes to Anuj. According to Anuj, India is staying here for the first time. She says she was reluctant to participate in puja as she feared Shruti and Aadhya would not like it. However, Anuj assures her not to be sorry for doing the puja.
Baa and Babu ji come to the hall and ask Dimpy why she called. Kavya and Vanraj also come there. Dimpy asks Vanraj to clarify if he wants her married to Titu or just acting. Baa asks why you are blaming Vanraj. Dimpy says you told Ansh that his stepfather is bad and that he does not want Titu to be his stepfather. I told Babu ji, not Ansh, so I didn’t tell him. Vanraj says I didn’t tell Ansh anything.

Anuj brings Shruti and Aadhya to do the puja. Shruti says she doesn’t know how to do puja since she hasn’t done it since morning. Aadhya assures her that God will be in her heart so she doesn’t have to show off. Anupama says we express our love even though we already have it within. Shruti asks why we do puja.
Anupama says they do puja to enlighten, strengthen and purify their hearts. She asks Shruti to di puja and says the family members do it. Shruti, Anuj and Aadhya perform the puja, while Anupama sings a bhajan. Anuj gives Aadhya, Shruti and Anupama aarti after the bhajan.
It is because of her positivity that Anuj tells Anupama to perform the shank nath. Anupama plays the shank. She then performs the small puja in the kitchen. She tries to get the canister. He takes it and gives it to Anupama. She thanks him. While making coffee or tea, Anuj thinks of poetry in his heart. Aadhya searches for him. She finds Anupama’s diary, opens it and then keeps it.
Anuj asks Anupama what she is making. Anupama says Moong ki Dal ka Halwa and Choti liked it as a child. Anuj says she likes it even now. He asks her to concentrate on the competition. Anupama says she can’t leave the competition and her daughter. He says you are unique. As Anupama looks at Aadhya standing there, she wonders if she heard I had come to get her.
Anuj answers that she will bring her coffee and asks her to leave. Anuj goes. Aadhya says she will bring it and asks him to go. Anuj leaves. Aadhya asks Anupama to stay away from her. Anupama says I will come to give food and medicine. Anuj and Shruti go outside. Aadhya says goodbye. She falls, trying to get the table. Anupama tries to hold her, but Aadhya shouts don’t.
