When Anuj sees Sonu misbehaving with a girl, he pulls him away and punches him. Vanraj and others intervene and stop Anuj. Sonu shouts he dares him to punch him for a cheap girl. Vanraj asks Anuj not to fight today because it’s his son’s best day. Sonu provokes Anuj repeatedly and asks what will happen if he misbehaves with his wife and sister. Anuj trashes Sonu again. Vanraj and others pull him out again and ask him to let the police investigate.
The manager informs Anuj that the police have been called to handle the drunk troublemakers, and he asks Anuj and his team to leave. Meanwhile, Anupama is refilling the temple lamp with oil and Leela agrees that she did the right thing. Suddenly, the flower garland falls onto the lamp causing it to go out. This worries Anupama for Samar’s safety. As they all make their way out, Anuj requests for Sonu to be arrested by the manager. Vanraj comments that there were security personnel in the club who could have taken care of the troublemakers, and Anuj shouldn’t have gotten involved in a fight. However, Anuj explains that he doesn’t know what provoked the troublemaker.
Toshu goes to bring Hasmukh out. Anupama calls Samar, who responds with an emoji before ending the call. Sonu shoots at Anuj, prompting Samar to quickly jump in and protect him. Sonu’s friends then take him away from the scene. Anupama becomes even more worried for Samar, while Leela claims that blowing out a temple lamp is bad luck. But Barkha disagrees, saying there is no such superstition. Kinjal suggests that perhaps Samar accidentally sent the emoji. Paakhi proposes playing antakshari as a distraction from their discomfort in their party clothes, which Anupama agrees to change out of because they’re itchy. Paakhi adds that party clothes are generally uncomfortable. Finally, Hasmukh answers Anupama’s call and reassures her that everyone is safe and will be returning home after dinner. In response, Anupama urges them to come back soon.
After changing her clothes, Anupama heads to the kitchen where she hears a group of ladies singing the popular song “Khai Ke Paan Banaras waala”. She recalls how much Samar loves this song. Anupama spots the kheer she had prepared earlier, specifically for Samar, in the fridge. As Samar approaches her, he expresses his desire to have some kheer. Anupama is overjoyed to see him and Samar jokingly says he would even forgive Yamraj if it meant getting a taste of her delicious kheer. With fondness in her heart, Anupama feeds him spoonfuls of kheer and silently recites a poem for him. She asks if he likes it and Samar replies that it’s more than just good – it satisfies all his cravings in one simple bite.
Anupama advises him to refrain from saying such things. Samar becomes overwhelmed. She assures him that his emotions as a new father are completely normal and they will all be there to support him and his baby. Anuj reminds them that they must all work together from now on. Anupama promises to continue being herself, while Samar’s child will soon inherit his name. Samar expresses concern about Dimpy handling everything alone, and requests that Anupama offer her support. Anupama agrees to stand by Dimpy’s side. Samar then shares his hopes for his mischievous child, asking that she teach the child values and her dance skills, while Toshu can assist with studies. Emotionally, he pleads for her to ensure his child receives plenty of love.

She notices Anuj and others standing in the dark, and asks why. She notices Samar missing, and asks where he is. In the meantime, Vanraj tells Anupama that Samar is dead. Samar greets her bye and disappears. Anupama falls behind him.
