Leela gives Anupama’s bangle back. Anupama asks Leela what she is doing. Anuj convinced Leela to keep the bangles. He said since Anupama earns, she would receive the new bangles. Leela refuses to take the bangles back. Anupama makes Leela wear the bangles. Anupama insists that Leela wear the bangles. Leela wishes Anuj and Anupama would always stay together.
Anuj inquires about Anupama’s fatigue, to which she responds that she never tires. He then questions her honesty when he notices her swollen hands. Anuj offers his help to relieve Anupama’s discomfort. As Malti sees this, she becomes upset at the idea of Anupama taking advantage of Anuj’s kindness. She accuses Anupama of only being loyal to the Shah family. At present, Malti decides to teach Anupama a lesson by hitting her slowly. Ankush requests tea, and Anupama takes on the task of making it. Malti eventually brings the tea, and Anupama asks why she did so. Malti replies that there is no shame in serving one’s own family.
Malti says no one is as loyal to the ex as Anupama is to the Shahs. Anupama says she has been with the Shahs for 26 years, so she is attached to them. She says the Shah house is also her maternal home. Anupama says Anuj understands her relationship with the Shahs. Malti sits irked. Anuj and Anupama discuss the old age home. Anupama feels she wishes to send Malti there.
Hasmukh helps Leela prepare sweets. He asks Leela what is bothering her. She says she has a problem with Titu. Hasmukh asks Leela what problem she has. Leela says she does not want society to question her because of Dimple. Hasmukh advises Leela to stop overthinking.
Upon seeing Dimple and Kavya’s picture, Paakhi is visibly upset. Adhik attempts to comfort her, but Paakhi responds rudely. He suggests surrogacy or adoption as options, to which Paakhi insists on having her baby. Adhik then brings up Anu’s situation as an example, saying that no one can deny Anuj and Anupama are her parents. However, Paakhi dismisses this by stating that she is not Anupama. Unbeknownst to them, Anupama overhears their conversation and intervenes to make Paakhi understand. But Paakhi shuts down her attempt and accuses her of insincerity, pointing out how Malti seems to be the only one who truly understands her.
The episode ends with Malti spending time with Anu. She asks Anu if she wants to be around her, and Anu nods. Malti decides to live with the Kapadias. Anupama recalls Paakhi’s words. She tries to understand Malti’s intention. Malti cooks for the Kapadias. She indirectly taunts Malti.
