Anupama 5th November 2024 Written Episode opens with Anupama managing her catering orders while juggling her home responsibilities. She instructs Toshu to deliver food to a client and also gives him bags for charity — one for the cowshed, one for an orphanage, and one to feed the birds. Toshu complains that doing good deeds alongside business doesn’t balance the accounts, but Janki behen wisely says, “Sin and virtue always balance each other.” Amused yet firm, Anupama reminds them both to focus on work.
After Toshu leaves, Anupama hands Baa an envelope containing money as payment for her hard work in preparing laddoos. She tells Baa that their client loved the sweets and placed more orders. Emotionally, Anupama adds that countless women dedicate their lives to families without ever receiving recognition. “I once lived like that — invisible. But you deserve appreciation,” she says. Baa, touched, silently walks away while Janki and the other women express gratitude, saying they not only earn money here but also respect.
Meanwhile, the younger generation has mischief brewing. Ishani excitedly shares with Pari, Ansh, and Mahi that there’s a Diwali party at Veda’s farmhouse, hosted by a popular influencer known as Meet the Cool Boy. The girls gush about meeting him, but Ansh dismisses it as silly. Prem overhears their conversation and joins in, teasing that he personally knows the influencer since he’s his best friend’s brother. He cleverly suggests they lie, telling their elders it’s a Diwali Puja Party. Mahi hesitates, but Ishani and Pari agree. Aadhya initially refuses to join, calling Prem unreliable. However, when Ansh decides to go, Aadhya reluctantly agrees — saying she can’t leave her brother alone with “that guy.”
Later, Anupama continues spreading festive warmth by distributing handmade envelopes filled with Diwali money to the community helpers — including the sweeper and the security guard. When Janki behen questions her generosity, Anupama says, “When money is given in an envelope, it carries emotion, not just value.”
As evening approaches, the kids dress in traditional attire for the Diwali puja. Anupama is delighted to see them so eager for the ritual, unaware of their real plan. Ansh lies that their friend Neeraj invited them to a satsang after the puja. The elders are skeptical, but Prem supports their story, claiming Neeraj is a mutual friend. Baa objects, saying the children should stay home, but Anupama mediates — suggesting that if they perform puja first, they may attend the gathering later.
The family conducts the Diwali aarti together. Anupama leads the bhajan, radiating peace and devotion, while the children join in to maintain their pretense. After the ritual, Anupama explains the true meaning of Diwali — that it celebrates not only Lord Ram’s return to Ayodhya but also the victory of light and hope over darkness.
A touching moment follows when Aadhya privately offers a pearl chain to Lord Krishna as her Diwali gift. The chain accidentally gets caught in Anupama’s saree, and Mahi reveals it was made by Aadhya. Overjoyed, Anupama takes it as a divine sign, saying, “Kanha ji, my daughter gave this gift to you, and you gave it back to me. It’s the most precious blessing.”
Soon after, the youngsters prepare to leave for the supposed satsang. Baa expresses concern about Prem, warning Anupama not to trust him blindly. But Anupama insists that Prem is responsible and promises, “He will take care of everyone.” Baa challenges her faith, saying, “Let’s see if my doubt is wrong or your trust is.”
The teens and Prem drive off in his jeep, planning to stop at a mall to change into western outfits for the real party. Mahi feels guilty, admitting it’s wrong to lie to Anupama, but Pari reassures her. Aadhya stays in Indian clothes, preferring not to hide behind pretense. Before leaving, Prem jokes that he’s like Lord Krishna himself, but Aadhya warns Ansh to ensure the jeep isn’t stolen. Their banter adds a humorous touch before they disappear down the road.
Back home, Anupama prays sincerely for the children’s safety, unaware of what lies ahead.
Precap:
At the party, Prem dances joyfully while the others join in. Back home, Anupama tries to call them. Mahi nervously admits, “We shouldn’t have lied to her.”
