Anupama inquires Pakhi if she prefers not to attend, then she doesn’t have to. She states that tying rakhi to her brothers does not put her in any obligation. Anupama emphasizes that Pakhi’s priorities seem to be focused on her husband rather than her brothers, family, or the festival. Thus, she encourages Choti Anu to join them instead. Anuj, Anupama and Choti Anu depart from the location while Pakhi reminisces about moments shared with her brother. Later at Shah house, Anupama informs Samar and Toshu that Pakhi has declined the invitation and seems resolute about it.
After Anuj mentions that her anger will subside, she promises to join them. Choti Anu chimes in by stating that she has already arrived. Kinjal invites her to participate in the aarti for her brothers. Later, Anuj informs Anupama that Vanraj appears upset and offers to speak with him. Upon approaching Vanraj, he asks if everything is alright. Vanraj responds with a negative and shares his plans on taking up poetry as a coping mechanism. He expresses gratitude towards Anuj for tolerating Pakhi’s outbursts. In response, Anuj consoles him by saying that it’s only natural for children to adopt their parents’ behavior over time. Hearing this, Vanraj remarks that life has taught him to find humor even in his own struggles.
Anupama approaches Kavya and acknowledges that she saw her message. She reassures Kavya that she was right in believing Mr. Shah would initially change his decision, but it’s his habit to change it again. However, Kavya expresses exhaustion from constantly hoping for a different outcome. Anupama advises her to try, but not to hope, as the action taken was wrong regardless of whether it was done by a man or woman. She adds that if forgiveness is granted, it is an act of greatness, but if not then it’s still okay as there are many women who go through pregnancy alone. Anupama promises to pray for Kavya’s situation, but urges her not to hold onto hope. In response, Kavya admits that she can manage on her own, but continues to strive for the love of a father for her child.
Upon tying her rakhi, Choti Anu receives gift from her brothers. Dimpy gets upset. Baa asks Kinjal to bring sweets. Pakhi hears her brother’s voice notes and is upset. Adhik asks her to go, if she loves him. Pakhi says I am fine. Adhik asks her not to do a big sacrifice for him, and asks her to go and not leave her family, for her love. Pakhi says they are mistreating you.
Since I mistreated their daughter, Adhik says they will do so. He asks her to leave stubbornness and asks her to go. He says you have to tie the rakhis to Bua. Pakhi kisses him and says I love you. He says I love you too and smirks. He says he will meet his US friend. Samar gets a message from Pakhi that she is coming. Anupama believes God is going to make her understand.
Pakhi is leaving the house when she gets a call from someone. Romil thinks about Barkha and Adhik accusing him of theft. Pakhi leaves the house when she gets a call from someone. She says, “I’m coming there.” Samar says an hour has passed and she hasn’t come yet. Toshu is also concerned. Toshu calls Anupama and says the phone doesn’t connect. He says we’ll go home and see. When he gets home, Vanraj asks Adhik where Pakhi is.
Adhik explains that he was with his friend when Barkha mentioned that Pakhi was headed to the Shah house. He then requests Anupama to review the CCTV footage, as he had left home before Pakhi. Romil interjects and claims that they both left together and had a confrontation. However, Adhik insists that nothing happened and clarifies that he simply asked Pakhi to go tie rakhi to her brothers. Adhik further argues that Romil is trying to frame him and falsely accuses him of knowing where Pakhi is. Seeing the situation, Anupama urges Adhik to inform them if he has any information about Pakhi’s whereabouts.
My daughter hasn’t reached home, so Anupama asks him to tell the truth, and asks if you fought with him or did anything with her. Adhik says no. Anupama then asks where is my daughter? Anupama cries and tells Anuj she wants her daughter. Anuj says we won’t cry, we will search Pakhi. Barkha and Adhik become tense. Anuj says we will go to the police and we have to wait. Anupama wishes Pakhi is fine.
Baa longs for Pakhi’s presence, but Samar brings up Rakhi, her favorite festival. Dimpy then mentions that her own favorite festival is karwachauth. Toshu urges Samar to stop Dimpy from making comments. However, Dimpy adds that her husband has brought a gift for Pakhi and it would have been nice if Adhik had been allowed to come. Vanraj interrupts, expressing his disapproval of Adhik’s actions as he has committed domestic violence. Dimpy reminds Vanraj that he too has caused emotional harm to their mother. Vanraj admits his mistake and says he has apologized numerous times. He adds that he doesn’t want to see Adhik again and questions whether Adhik has ever apologized to them.
Babu ji advises against getting upset over this matter. Toshu plans to scold the person responsible. Samar explains that they asked her to come, but she didn’t show up. Kinjal suggests going to her in the morning and reminds them of the difficult position women are often caught in between their birth home and their marital home. Toshu and Samar agree to visit her in the morning. Anupama anxiously awaits Pakhi’s return. Anuj makes a call to track down Pakhi and assures Anupama that they will find her. Adhik expresses concern that Pakhi may harm herself, but Anupama questions if he has ever harmed her physically. Adhik denies it, stating that he loves Pakhi deeply and urges Anupama to trust him.
It’s up to you to study in the room, Vanraj says to Kavya. After thanking him, Kavya says she wants time alone where no one looks at her or judges her, but leaves me alone on my own. It’s the same house and family, but it doesn’t seem like mine anymore. She says I see complain in everyone’s eyes. Vanraj says we are normal people, not resolved people like Anupama and Anuj that we forget easily. He gets Anuj’s message and becomes shocked.
