It occurs to Anupama to give everyone breakfast before bringing Choti home. Anuj scares her. Anupama asks, “What do you do?” Anuj pulls her closer. Anupama asks if he is a child now. He says he is the father of a daughter. Anupama says she ignores a good guy because he is dressed up in suits early in the morning. He tells her not to do this and that we must add color to our lives. Anupama says you add chaat masala. He says he wants to know where this thing is going.
Anupama reassures him and requests his phone, stating that she will call Choti. Anuj reminds her not to worry and mentions that she allowed Choti to go to her friend’s house the night before. He encourages her to let Choti have fun without any interruptions on the phone. Attempting to be affectionate, he tries to initiate romance, but Anupama reminds him they are not in a private setting. Meanwhile, Malti Devi picks up Choti from her friend’s place and informs her about the upcoming sports day. Excitedly, Choti agrees. Malti Devi then plans for them to go shopping at the mall, purchase new school shoes for Choti, and even get her into her school uniform there. She adds that they can head straight to school together as she has brought the uniform with her.
The Choti says we’ll be late. The Malti Devi replies, “We won’t be late.” Choti asks about Anupama, and Malti Devi replies, “She’s busy, but she’ll come.” Anupama prepares food in the kitchen. Anuj says no one has yet appeared. Anupama tells him not to think about romance and asks if he misbehaves. As you say, he says he wasn’t talking about romance. Anupama says she felt good after returning to her dance academy after a long time.
Anuj was surprised when Malti Devi ji returned to your dance academy. Even my memories are intertwined with it, he said. Samar and I started it; it holds a special place in our hearts. Anuj comforted Anupama, telling her not to cry, as the dance academy would bring joy into Dimpy’s life. However, Anupama couldn’t help but feel pain for Dimpy’s young age and uncertain future. Anupama hugged Anuj, remembering his Devdas state when she wasn’t speaking to him. They both prayed that God would never separate them again.
Malti Devi is currently in the car. Choti has expressed a desire to speak with their mother. Malti Devi assures her that she will call once they have arrived at their destination. At the breakfast table, Romil joins Anupama and expresses his interest in having thepla. He then proceeds to show her a dance video of Choti. Anuj compliments Malti Devi’s teaching skills, stating that Choti’s dance is reminiscent of Anupama’s. However, Anupama humbly disagrees, praising Malti Devi as an exceptional dance teacher. She mentions that after serving everyone breakfast, she plans to pick up Choti herself.
As Barkha joins the others at the dining table, she shares that Malti Devi had mentioned picking up Choti while she was out for her jog. This news surprises Anupama, who immediately calls Malti Devi to confirm. Malti Devi assures them that she has safely picked up Choti and advises them not to worry. She explained that since she originally sent Choti, she was responsible for bringing her back home. Anupama then expresses her disappointment, as she had plans with Choti for the day. But Malti Devi reassures her they can still have their plans after Choti returns. Anupama asks to speak to Choti on the phone, but Malti Devi claims she cannot hear properly and quickly ends the call. Observing this exchange, Romil comments that he suspects Malti Devi has a hidden agenda. And Anuj adds that they shouldn’t let this happen again. Worried about the situation, Anupama stays concerned about what could happen.
Choti requests Malti Devi to speak with their mother, but Malti Devi explains that there is no network where she is, and Anupama and Anuj are currently occupied. She considers calling Anuj, but he is tied up in meetings, and she does not want to disturb Anupama. Choti comments on how their mother never misses her school events, to which Malti Devi responds that Dimpy is currently filling in for Anupama. As soon as Anupama tries to reach out to Malti Devi, she realizes her phone is off and calls the driver to learn about a competition at Choti’s school. This raises suspicions in Anupama’s mind about Malti Devi’s intentions. However, Malti Devi reassures her they will have their turn soon enough.
Anupama is in the car when it suddenly fails to start. She starts running, causing her slippers to slip off her feet. She quickly picks them up and continues running. Meanwhile, Choti stands at the door while Malti Devi wonders when Anuj will realize that Anupama never arrived. She fears he will see that she is not as perfect as he thinks and judge her for it. As Anupama falls on the road, the teacher calls for Choti to participate in the competition with Malti Devi since Anupama is not there yet. They head to the competition, but Choti feels downcast. Just as the teacher is about to begin tying their hands together, Anupama appears and stops them. Choti joyfully exclaims that her mother has arrived. However, Anupama notices Malti Devi looking displeased.
