Anupama 9th November 2024 Written Episode begins with Anupama performing Suryanamaskar at sunrise, marking the start of a new year. She folds her hands and says, “Today is our new year. The Diwali lights may have dimmed, but may this year be filled with happiness.” Smiling, she asks the Sun God to give her “Vitamin H – Vitamin of Happiness.” She then sends a message to everyone, wishing them Happy New Year and instructing them to gather ready by 8 a.m.

Ansh, Ishani, Mahi, and Pari wake up feeling guilty, remembering the harsh words they spoke the previous night. Meanwhile, Anupama chats with Kaveri and Gauri about how people burst fewer crackers this year. She wishes them Happy New Year and notices Prem sleeping in his jeep nearby.

When Prem wakes up, he greets her cheerfully, “Happy New Year, Ma’am!” He explains that though she told him to leave, he couldn’t go until she forgave him. “You can scold me, make me wash dishes, or let Ansh hit me, but I’ll stay until you forgive me,” he jokes. Taking out his toothbrush, he starts brushing outside the jeep, making Anupama smile faintly.

Inside the house, everyone gathers in the hall and is surprised to see it beautifully decorated. Anupama welcomes them all and wishes Happy New Year. She says, “There’s always a gap between generations, but let’s build a bridge together — both sides taking two steps each.” Pakhi mutters that this will go on forever, but Anupama laughs and says, “At least we’ll try.”

Ansh, Pari, Ishani, and Mahi nervously ask if she will not scold them anymore. “Never,” says Anupama, smiling warmly. Toshu and Kinjal jokingly offer to do the scolding instead. The kids apologise, saying they spoke harshly in anger. Pakhi, however, blames Aadhya for provoking them. Aadhya replies calmly, “This thorn grew from the seed you planted.” Pakhi taunts her as an “imported thorn,” and Baa joins in with a sarcastic comment.

Anupama interrupts everyone and brings out tape, saying, “If anyone fights, I’ll use this to seal their mouths.” The family laughs, and the tension eases. They all shake hands to celebrate the new year together.

Soon, Anupama leads the family for puja. She explains the importance of the Shankh and prays to Lord Krishna to bring new light into their lives. Anupama and Toshu sing a bhajan together. Prem reaches the gate but remembers Anupama’s earlier words and doesn’t step in. Instead, he goes to the nearby temple and joins in the bhajan from there. His soulful voice echoes through the neighborhood, and the Shah family hears it. Mahi and Aadhya join the singing, creating a peaceful moment.

When the bhajan ends, Ansh and Mahi apologise to everyone for their mistakes. Ishani and Pari also apologise to Anupama, who reminds them gently not to repeat their wrongs. Mahi clarifies that Aadhya did not know the drinks were spiked, or she would never have allowed them to drink. Anupama nods and forgives them.

She then gives each child a paper crown, but Aadhya steps back and refuses to wear it. Anupama doesn’t force her and simply says, “Keep your phones aside for now.” Everyone places their phones on the table. She then blows up balloons and divides everyone into two teams for a game. Dolly asks why Anupama seems so cheerful. Toshu replies, “Because she wants to reconnect with the kids.”

Anupama announces, “All my daughters will be on one team.” Aadhya, however, insists on joining the other team. Anupama smiles and says, “Fine, but play fair.” They start a lively game inspired by Toshu’s childhood birthday party. The song “Prabhu Ka Naam” plays in the background as everyone dances, laughs, and plays together.

Just as the atmosphere lightens, Prem enters wearing a T-shirt that reads SORRY and holding a placard with the same word. Everyone turns to look at him. Baa chuckles and says, “Why have you turned into a Sorry Card?” Prem folds his hands and says, “I came to apologise.” Toshu angrily tells him to leave, but before he can go, Anupama stops him.

She says, “It wasn’t only his mistake. We all made mistakes. But remember — forgiveness doesn’t come twice.” She tells Prem to stay and rejoin them, saying that everyone deserves a second chance. He thanks her and smiles gratefully.

The game continues, and Anupama announces the next round called Oye Oye. They all play the ring game to the cheerful tune of Tu Choti Choti Baaton Mein. Aadhya and Prem play together while others join in, their laughter filling the room.

After the games, Anupama asks, “Did you all enjoy?” Everyone happily says yes. Prem offers to bring sherbet for everyone. Anupama then says, “No one lost today because we all worked as one team. We played as Hum and not Main.” The family nods, smiling with understanding.

Precap:
Mahi shows the gifts that the girls plan to give Ansh for Bhai Dooj. Anupama asks Aadhya to apply the tika to Ansh, saying, “You are his Fui, but you’ve always treated him like a brother.” Aadhya refuses, saying she can’t pretend for the sake of drama. Ishani confronts her, but Anupama calmly explains, “She is scared of forming new bonds — it will take time.” Later, Ansh warns Prem to stay away from Aadhya. Prem defends himself, saying he hasn’t misbehaved, but Ansh grabs his collar and shouts that he would have broken his legs if he had.
