The episode begins with Apollena asking Laali to take coal in her hands, stating that both of them must undergo this test—one side representing accusations against Laali and the other against herself. She urges Laali to take it. Laali hesitates, questioning if Apollena intends to burn her. Apollena clarifies that right and wrong are not proven this way, as scientifically, anyone holding coal will get burned regardless of who they are. She throws the coal into the havan and tosses the holder in front of Laali. Addressing Amma, she states that trust is in the eyes, and today, she failed to see it in Amma’s eyes for her. Girdhar observes with a smile as Apollena walks away.

Madhu and Renu apply ointment to Apollena’s neck, but she refuses Amma’s herbal remedy, expressing her pain. Amma assures her that if she had reached for the coal, she would have stopped her. Girdhar insists that the boys responsible for her ordeal must be punished. Neil offers to confront them physically, but Girdhar advises against turning into goons. Instead, he encourages Apollena to report the incident to the Principal. Apollena hesitates, citing her focus on her goals. However, Girdhar stresses that this is a matter of self-respect and must not be ignored.

The following day, the Principal and Batuk Nath stand as the boys mock the complaint. The Principal, angered by their attitude, warns them. Batuk Nath, however, defends them, arguing that the explosion in Apollena’s experiment was merely an accident, not a deliberate act. He ridicules Apollena, comparing the lab to a kitchen and suggesting she must have made a mistake. Apollena firmly denies any errors, but the boys laugh again. When asked if they did anything else, she hesitates before revealing they took her photos.

Girdhar, who has been listening, steps in. He points out that society teaches girls to remain silent to avoid defamation. He highlights that Apollena has burn marks on her neck and questions how she could possibly show them. Ignoring her protests, he presents the boys’ photos as evidence to the Principal. He urges Apollena to not lower her gaze, emphasizing that dignity lies in one’s honesty, courage, and integrity, not in clothes or appearance. He advises that by not feeling ashamed, she can strip society of its power to judge her character unfairly.

The Principal orders Batuk Nath to summon the boys’ parents, warning that unless they reveal the culprits, they will be barred from board exams. Batuk Nath argues that their academic year would be wasted, but the Principal remains firm, declaring that their misconduct cannot be forgiven.

Later, Mohit asks Sanjay about his next move. Sanjay smirks, calling it his masterstroke. Approaching the Principal, he pretends to have a change of heart, admitting that he knew the culprits all along but remained silent. Claiming to be inspired by Girdhar’s speech, he apologizes, stating that he now wishes to do the right thing.

At home, Girdhar returns to preparations for an upcoming event. Renu discusses arrangements, while Amma insists on completing the traditional rituals. As the family gets busy, Madhu inquires about the college incident. Girdhar mentions that Batuk Nath’s son unexpectedly helped Apollena.

Meanwhile, Apollena asks about Sanjay’s whereabouts and learns he is practicing volleyball behind the school. She heads there, unaware of Mohit’s scheming. Mohit relays the information to Sanjay, who confronts him for betraying their friends. Sanjay, however, coolly responds that it was a sacrifice for revenge. As Apollena arrives, she mistakenly believes in Sanjay’s sincerity and apologizes for misjudging him. She extends a hand of friendship. Seizing the opportunity, Sanjay invites her for a volleyball game. As they play, he takes her hand under the guise of teaching her, drawing closer with ulterior motives.
