The Apollena 16th December 2024 Written Episode begins with Appu preparing to leave for school. Amma reminds her that school starts at 8:30 AM, but it’s only 6:30 AM. Appu, however, insists that Amma should help with wedding preparations and asks her to color all the pots before heading to school. She realizes that if she stops to paint them, she’ll miss her bus to Kanpur. Meanwhile, Neil instructs his friend to buy three tickets, including one for Appu, but warns that if she doesn’t arrive on time, they’ll have to leave without her. The recording session is too important to miss.
Determined, Appu starts painting the pots, devising a clever shortcut by cutting designs on paper and applying them to the pots. She initially plans to finish in 30 minutes but ends up taking an extra five. Just as she’s about to leave, she receives a message from Neil. Before she can respond, Dadi arrives, praises her work, and asks her to paint five more matkas. Despite being in a rush, she complies but warns that she’s running late for school. Finally, she hops onto her cycle, only for the chain to slip off.
Girdhar notices her struggle and offers her a ride to school. Appu hesitates but eventually accepts. Meanwhile, Neil and his friend spot her arriving at school with Girdhar. Neil’s friend insists they leave soon or risk missing the bus. Girdhar drops Appu off at school and notices Sanjay lurking nearby. He grows suspicious and advises Appu to head inside quickly. She assures him she will and watches as he leaves. Once the school gate is closed, Appu feels guilty for deceiving him. Determined, she climbs over the school wall and escapes.
Sanjay and his accomplice spot her and give chase. Appu runs, constantly looking over her shoulder, but they remain hidden. She races towards the bus stop just as the bus departs. Sprinting as fast as she can, she calls out for the bus to stop. Neil hears her, looks out, and extends his hand. Appu grabs it just in time, pulling herself inside. He questions how she managed to leave school, but she asks him to let her catch her breath first.
Meanwhile, Sanjay and his friend try to catch up but fail. Frustrated, Sanjay instructs his friend to fetch a bike so they can track her. He suspects that Appu is more cunning than she appears. At that moment, Suraj arrives and slaps Sanjay, demanding the remaining ₹25,000. Sanjay pleads for more time, claiming he will pay once Appu gives him the money. He remains fixated on uncovering what she’s up to and why she skipped school.
Back at home, Renu applies haldi to Sangeeta, advising her on the dos and don’ts of married life. Girdhar adds that even if she falls sick, she’ll still have to manage household chores. He tells her that if she eats before her husband, she fails, and if she asks for something for herself, she fails her mother’s training. He insists that these are the same lessons he teaches Appu. Renu acknowledges that arguing with Girdhar is pointless and leaves. Sangeeta playfully remarks that she listens to her mother’s advice but forgets it immediately.
Upon reaching Kanpur, Appu reminds Neil that their competition begins at 12:30 PM. They arrive at IIE, only for the security guard to inform her that registration is closed. To her horror, she realizes her watch stopped at 12:20 PM. Desperate, she pleads with the guard to allow her to register, but he refuses.
