At home, Madhu urges Girdhar to eat something, but he refuses. Suddenly, Neil enters, playing the dhol. Everyone is shocked by his dramatic entrance. Girdhar angrily asks him to stop, but Neil retorts that just like Girdhar ignored Appu’s truth yesterday, he must now listen. Neil then reveals that the branded specs Appu gifted were bought with her own hard-earned prize money. He explains that Appu had gone to Kanpur to fulfill her dream of applying to IASA, where the application cost ₹42,000. Instead of asking Girdhar—who is already stressed with Sangeeta’s marriage expenses—Appu chose to manage on her own. Neil emphasizes how Appu’s entire world revolves around her father.

Meanwhile, Appu is once again targeted at school. Sanjay provokes her and mocks her publicly. She grabs his collar, but he pretends to be the victim just as Principal and Batuk Nath arrive.
