Apollena 22nd December 2024 Written Update begins with Madhu feeding Appu curd and sugar for good luck. Renu’s husband jokes that Appu will send them flight tickets every year. Appu reminds everyone she’s only filed the IASA form and hasn’t been selected yet. Sangeeta praises her, saying Appu always comes first. Appu asks Girdhar to press “Enter” to submit the form, but he first wants to know why she didn’t win first place. Appu admits she didn’t press the buzzer in time and promises to win next time. Girdhar questions why she nearly touched Sanjay’s feet. Appu looks down, saddened. Girdhar lifts her spirits, apologizing for his previous harshness and for raising his hand. She hugs him, and they forgive each other. He then puts on his new spectacles and proudly presses enter to submit her form. Amma wonders what gives girls such determination. Girdhar jokes that it’s Amma herself who inspires her. The family breaks into a cheerful song to uplift Amma.

Meanwhile, Sanjay is fuming at home. Suraj informs him that Appu—whom he mockingly calls “rocket girl”—transferred the money. Suraj demands his ₹25,000 cut. Sanjay says he doesn’t care for the money anymore; his revenge is fulfilled. Later, Sanjay hatches a darker plan, instructing Suraj to send Appu a fake email using IASA’s official letterhead. Suraj is hesitant, fearing legal consequences. But Sanjay insists and offers to arrange more money, vowing to drag Appu into a major scam to ruin her image.

Back at home, Appu overhears Sangeeta chatting with Akshay about wearing western clothes post-marriage. Appu teases her lovingly. Meanwhile, Girdhar tells Madhu they’re awaiting a reply from IASA, which is a huge deal. Madhu reminds him of the tilak ceremony and how Amma won’t tolerate any gaps in wedding arrangements.

Appu ensures Sangeeta stays home as a celebrity makeup artist is scheduled to arrive. Sangeeta boasts the artist has even worked with Katrina Kaif. Renu warns her not to move for 3-4 hours to get the full ₹30,000 worth. Madhu reveals that Girdhar had to break Appu and Neil’s FD to cover the wedding expenses, and worries about him finding out.

When the makeup artist finally arrives, she behaves arrogantly. Sangeeta innocently requests Katrina-style makeup, only to be mocked. Appu defends her sister, asserting that beauty fades but inner grace lasts forever. She demands an apology, but the artist refuses, declines a refund, and walks out sarcastically. Sangeeta is left in tears.

Outside, the artist vents, accusing Appu of lecturing her. Renu pleads with her to complete the makeup, but she leaves. Girdhar suggests hiring another artist, but Renu argues they can’t afford another ₹30,000 session. Girdhar is shocked, realizing the high price and how Appu went to a science competition to save on IASA form fees.

Renu defends Sangeeta, saying she insisted on hiring the expensive artist. Sangeeta then agrees to apologize and call her back. However, Renu turns the blame onto Appu and insists she be the one to apologize instead. Girdhar refuses and questions why Appu should apologize. Renu retorts that if he wants the best for Sangeeta, Appu must call the artist back—leaving the family in conflict once again.
