The journalists push past the family, bombarding Apollena with questions like how she secured the internship and what she had to do for it. While Apollena tries to redirect attention back to her sister’s special day, the reporters argue that her achievement outweighs the engagement in terms of newsworthiness.
Despite the uncomfortable situation, Neil confirms the news of Apollena’s selection. Renu admits it’s a proud moment but criticizes the media for ruining the function’s decorum.
Trying to control the narrative, Renu’s husband gives an interview, crediting Apollena’s success to the family’s support. Yet the media refuses to back off. In the chaos, Sangeeta loses her balance and falls, leaving everyone shocked. Renu tries to console her, but the damage is done.
Lali quickly takes advantage of the moment, pointing fingers at Apollena for stealing the spotlight. She accuses her of overshadowing Sangeeta on what should have been her most memorable day.
