However, when the guests taste it, they praise its flavor, leaving everyone surprised. Irani is left confused, unaware that Shlok had secretly stopped Apollena from adding salt and helped her fix the dish. Later, Shlok thanks Apollena for saving his mother’s honor, though Mrs Rastogi continues to complain that Apollena does not respect traditions. She warns Saraswati that Shlok might start prioritizing his wife over his mother, making Saraswati embarrassed in front of her friends.

Afterwards, Shlok asks Apollena to wear the nuptial chain and apply vermilion to maintain family appearances. She reluctantly agrees to wear the chain but refuses the vermilion, arguing that it contains harmful chemicals. Shlok dismisses her concerns, insisting it is an important tradition. Saraswati overhears their conversation and questions why her son married someone who refuses to follow customs.
