The Episode begins with Vandana motivating herself and lighting the diyas. As she gazes at a shooting star, she offers her prayers. Afterward, she proceeds to Kunal’s house and ignites the diyas outside. However, her peaceful moment is disrupted when a drunken Kunal arrives home and stumbles towards her. Surprised by his state, Vandana catches him as he falls against her shoulder. He shares that when life becomes challenging, one tends to falter. She replies that in times of struggle, it’s essential to have someone to lean on rather than blaming external factors like alcohol or circumstances. He then comments on how lights are merely an illusion. But Vandana reminds him that they symbolize hope and courage, holding onto the diya firmly so it won’t blow out. In a vulnerable state, Kunal draws closer to her and questions why Sonia (his ex-partner) brought darkness into his life and what satisfaction she gained from ruining it, leaving him sleepless at night.
She pleads for him to let her go, but he blames her for not telling him about their daughter. The wounds from their past have resurfaced as he reveals that he only found out about their child after 7 long years. He accuses her of ruining their daughter’s childhood and mentions how they had envisioned a life together with their little one. These words echo in Vandana’s mind as she tries to defend herself. Kunal angrily points out the effect of growing up without both parents and how they endure it. He is furious at her actions and refuses to let her see their daughter again. In despair, he collapses onto Vandana’s lap.
As Mrunal records their video, they confidently assure Vandana, “Just wait and watch. I will make you famous.” Vandana clings to Kunal and whispers that she can’t reveal this to anyone. She gently urges Kunal to get up. Hearing their conversation, Tara rushes over and questions what happened to Dad. Vandana calmly replies that he is exhausted and needs some rest. With Tara’s help, Vandana takes Kunal home and reflects on how relationships often choose us, like Tara has chosen Kunal. Expressing her concern, Tara remarks that she has never seen him in such a state before. Vandana agrees, acknowledging that this tiredness is unusual for him, but is confident he will return after some rest.
As Tara sings Twinkle twinkle, she takes care of Kunal. She says, “Don’t worry, I’m with you.” He says, “You’re here, my daughter.” She says yes, she’s there. He says, “My daughter… you’re here with me, right?” She says yes, sleep, good night, my good dad. She hugs him and kisses him. Vandana watches as he apologizes for not being there with you. Kunal hugs Tara. Vandana cares for them. They are asleep. Vandana cares for them.
