The episode begins with Vijay shedding tears and expressing how Vandana’s life has been destroyed. However, Vandana herself arrives and assures him that everything is alright. Meanwhile, Anagha can’t help but stare at her sparkling diamond jewellery. Vandana reiterates that nothing went wrong and asks if she can enter for pagphere. Although Vijay initially declines, he eventually welcomes her with a heartfelt aarti and hug. While they bond, Mrunal jokes about Kunal, which irks Atya, who urges her to stop the drama. Unfazed by the comments, Vandana speaks up about how Kunal takes care of Sonia out of kindness, which Mrunal can’t understand due to her betrayal of Vaibhav. As Mrunal leaves, Vandana calmly states that she holds no false hope and, thus, isn’t hurt by their actions. Vijay reminds her that she, too, is only human and could be hurting inside. She consoles him and shares an affectionate embrace.
Anagha compliments your jewellery; let me try it on. I was curious to see how it looked. I promise to return it since it belongs to you. Vandana clarified that it belonged to Pammi and apologized for being unable to lend it. She leaves. Hemant points out Anagha’s greediness while she justifies that they will receive whatever Vandana receives. He asks her how this will come about, to which she responds that their family is her soft spot, and all they have to do is plead for her assistance. They share a knowing look. Meanwhile, Vandana anxiously awaits Kunal’s arrival while Vijay comments on her anticipation for someone who gives her hope.
Vandana responds in denial, stating that she was merely waiting. Soon after, she receives a message from Bobby regarding the event and his potential lateness. Apologetic, he asks for forgiveness. Atya offers Vandana some advice and reminds her to take care. Agreeing with Atya’s words of wisdom, Vandana assures everyone that she will be careful. With that settled, she leaves the room. Pammi addresses Vandana upon her return and asks whether she has come back to speak poorly about them. She then mentions that it is Vandana’s first time cooking for them and eagerly asks when they can expect to taste her food. Determined to prove herself, Vandana promises to prepare a delicious meal for everyone. As she prays in the kitchen, Tara arrives to lend a helping hand. Vandana gratefully smiles at her gesture.
The neighbors show up at Vandana’s door. Vandana asks if everything is fine. The boy says he came first in school and got a scholarship, so he came here to inform you. Tara takes Ganesh with her to give the toy. Vandana gets sweets for Subhash and his wife. Pammi throws the sweets. She scolds Vandana.
Upon Tara’s return, Vandana immediately defends Subhash and his wife. Curious about the commotion, Ganesh inquires about what has happened. Subhash then politely urges him to keep quiet. However, tensions rise when Pammi lashes out at Vandana. Eventually, Subhash takes his leave with his family. Feeling wronged, Vandana states that she has kept silent despite Pammi’s constant barbs about her marriage throughout the day. She adds that Pammi’s behaviour towards Subhash, Vimal, and Ganesh was unacceptable. In response, Pammi reminds her this is now her sasural (in-laws’ house). The two get into a heated argument until everyone is called for dinner.
Vedika mentions missing her mum, while Puran poli is Kunal’s favourite dish, which he will eat today. Guneet offers nek to Vandana, who initially declines. Still, after enjoying the food, she changes her mind. Bobby and Vedika also give nek gifts, along with Tara, who also presents a gift. Vandana expresses gratitude and embraces Tara. As Kunal arrives home, Tara checks Vandana’s well-being and informs Kunal of the delicious food she prepared, including his beloved Puran Poli. She suggests giving nek to Vandana as a token of appreciation. The group is interrupted by Sonia’s arrival during a power cut caused by her entrance.
