The episode commences with Kunal and Vandana playfully teasing each other. He apologizes, and she mentions that she has some tasks to do. Kunal admires her as he begins to provide first aid. She winces in pain, and he assures her it will only sting for a moment before giving relief. Vandana playfully asks him to say sorry again, commenting on how the word is small yet significant. Meanwhile, Sonia is searching for Kunal. Vandana takes the opportunity to lecture Kunal on the importance of apologies, to which he responds with a smile and says, “I’m sorry.” She asks him to say it louder, and he repeats himself. But upon her request for another apology, he sincerely shouts, “Sorry.” As they exchange, Pammie and the others overhear Kunal’s loud apology while Guneet, Tara, and Bobby celebrate happily. Rano inquires what is happening just as Vandana and Kunal share a sweet moment. Sonia observes from afar and grows frustrated by their camaraderie.
She interrupts them and expresses concern for Vandana’s well-being. However, Vandana reassures her she is fine, and Kunal suggests they see a doctor. While he receives a message about a meeting, Sonia offers to take Vandana to her follow-up appointment. Kunal agrees but reminds Sonia to keep him updated after the visit. He asks Sonia to care for Vandana, who promises she will. After Kunal leaves, Vandana assures them she will return in five minutes.
Then Sonia hugs Kunal’s shirt, saying Kunal, I will never let you go away from me, I love you, I’ve come back, Vandana has to leave this house. When Vandana arrives, Sonia keeps the shirt back. Vandana says she forgot her phone. Sonia smiles. Rano scolds Tara. Vandana shouts enough. She scolds Rano. Rano asks who you are to say that, too.
I am right to defend Tara since I am Vandana Karmarkar Malhotra’s mother and Kunal’s wife. Pammi warns Vandana. She goes to Sonia. Sonia denies it and goes. Pammi says Sautan cannot become a friend. Sonia will blast her anger soon. Vijay comes and shouts Vandana. He argues about keeping Sonia home. He asks Vandana if her self-esteem has died. Vandana says calm down. He scolds Sonia.
As Vandana tries to console a weeping Sonia, she reassures her not to confide in anyone about her pain as she understands that everyone’s intentions are good. However, she knows that the outcome may be unfavourable and asks her to guide the woman out of this situation. Vandana reminds Sonia that, ultimately, it will be Kunal’s decision as he is her husband. Despite being Tara’s mother, Vandana does not consider herself Kunal’s wife and believes that responsibility has to be shared for a relationship to flourish rather than being a compromise. She advises Sonia not to get involved and assures her that she will handle everything. As Vijay advises Vandana to send Sonia away to avoid more turmoil, he leaves. Later, Pammi apologizes on behalf of everyone for insulting Sonia, and Vandana also apologises. Pammi believes that once Kunal returns, everything will fall into place. Together, they make plans for the future.
