Revati, confused, asks what proposal he is talking about. Sunny blurts out that Nikhil proposed marriage to Bhagyashree earlier in the day and she agreed. Everyone assumed her yes was only to provoke Rishabh, but with the relatives’ arrival it now looks genuine. Meenakshi’s mother stirs trouble by questioning whether the engagement is Bhagyashree’s or Revati’s. Sowmya taunts them, accusing both Bhagyashree and Revati of making big decisions without the family’s approval. Realizing his mistake, Sunny feels guilty. Padma diverts the attention, saying Bhagyashree herself will answer, but since she fears darkness they should search for her.

Meanwhile, Bhagyashree confronts Rishabh. With tears and anger, she asks him to leave her life and declares that she is going to marry Nikhil. Heartbroken, Rishabh asks if she truly feels nothing for him. Forcing her emotions down, Bhagyashree says she hates him and repeats that she will marry Nikhil. Rishabh softens and tells her that if she truly wishes to live with someone else, he will step aside because her happiness matters more than anything. He asks her to close her eyes and imagine the person she truly loves. Both close their eyes. Rishabh sees Bhagyashree, while Bhagyashree sees Rishabh, silently confirming their love despite her denial.

Back at home, Karthik tells Nitya that Bhagyashree is missing. Padma suspects she may be stuck in the lift, but Sunny says the lift is not working. Vinay decides to check the meter room while Sonia and Nitya search for the key. Inside, Bhagyashree is indeed trapped with Rishabh. He gives her his phone with its low battery and asks her to hold it, assuring her that he will find a way out. She nervously asks about his plan, and he replies that they must act or remain trapped in darkness forever.

Outside, her family hears her voice from the meter room and panics. They break open the door and are stunned to find Bhagyashree with Rishabh. Vinay furiously questions how Rishabh ended up there, while Rishabh demands Sonia and Nitya explain why they locked them in. Vinay consoles Bhagyashree, assuring her that the family stands with her. He then calls Nikhil, joins Bhagyashree’s hand with his, and announces that Sunny informed him she accepted Nikhil’s proposal. Without delay, he blesses them and fixes their engagement for the next day, asking Nikhil to promise that he will keep Bhagyashree happy. Just then, Purab and Revati arrive. Bhagyashree scolds Nitya for her reckless actions that have caused confusion between both families. At that moment, a group of LGBT women arrive to congratulate her. Meanwhile, Kaddu approaches Rishabh, but he gently tells her to visit him whenever she wants non-veg food. Bhagyashree interrupts and insists Kaddu come with her. Rishabh replies that Kaddu should go with her mother and that her father will remain in the same society, hinting at his own lonely fate.

The next morning, Padma tries to persuade Revati to eat breakfast. Vinay cheerfully announces that he is going to buy a ring for Nikhil. Padma urges him to wait, explaining that Revati has gone on a hunger strike. Concerned, Vinay lovingly encourages her to eat her favorite food, but she remains silent. Sowmya then remarks that Revati is eating more than enough because of her pregnancy cravings, adding to the tension in the family.
