The episode begins with Jai and Aradhana departing. They engage in a conversation about Reyansh and Kimaya. Jai is determined to keep Aradhana from failing, citing Reyansh’s unpredictable behavior. Aradhana requests to be dropped off at a particular location as she has some tasks. Upon arriving at a bar, she orders a glass of whisky. Reyansh notices her and questions her about maintaining her previous good-girl image. Aradhana counters by asking why she can’t drink when he can, and she confronts him about his relentless pursuit. Reyansh admonishes her for playing the game differently now, highlighting her previous concerns about her image and warning her of his resolve to avenge those obstructing his path. He declares that her actions have hardened his heart, vowing never to chase after her again.
She chases after him as he exits, determined not to be separated. Her heart and his beat as one. He firmly tells her to keep her distance, yet she insists they are bound together. With a shared thread connecting them, they will fall if one lets go. He challenges her to try and see for herself. As the melancholy song “O saajna” echoes in the background, they part ways. She returns home and cannot shake thoughts of him from her mind.
Aradhana arrives at Reyansh’s door to confess her feelings. She says, “I’m ready to burn; the decision is yours,” and departs. As she cries, she says she is burning with your love. She didn’t think of anything, not about my respect and pain, and I cannot marry you, as it will also break my sister’s heart. I will become so bad that the Khanna family will spit on me and throw me out of their homes and hearts, but you must leave Kimaya. I can do anything to make it better.
As the sun rises, Reyansh warmly greets Beena. She reminds him that it’s his birthday today. He confirms and admits he has been missing her greatly. She compliments him on looking even more charming. Just then, Aradhana appears. Beena mentions going to fetch a cake for him and leaves. Reyansh opens up about realizing his mistake of marrying Kimaya after she had asked him to forget everything. He explains how their relationship is causing harm to both of them. Curious, he asks what happened to her usual madness, reminding her that there can only be one Reyansh Lamba. She confidently responds that she is just as stubborn as him. Amused, he playfully challenges her by saying they’ll have to see who is the mightiest among them.
During a conversation with Kriti, Jai argues with her. He says I’m tied up. I do whatever you tell me to. She says keep the deal, act like a happy love couple, otherwise Aradhana gets punished. He receives a phone call. He asks what, I got that house, that’s amazing, I took it for Aradhana and myself, I shattered my dreams, you give it to someone else now. Kimaya visits the office to meet Reyansh. She wishes him a happy birthday and asks how I look.
Aradhana and Vikram observe her. She says she has to end Reyansh’s misunderstanding. She goes to meet Kimaya. She compliments her. Kimaya says I tried to get ready like you. Aradhana says no, we’re twinning, I’ll help you. She gets the cake. Aradhana says whatever happened last night, I’m sorry. Kimaya says she doesn’t want to talk about it, Reyansh picked a girl like me, I’m trying to become a good fit for him. Aradhana says you’re doing well.
Kimaya told Aradhana that Angad’s family made her feel ugly. In response, Aradhana reassured Kimaya of her beauty and advised her not to change herself for Reyansh. She emphasized that Kimaya should stay true to herself. However, this only added to Kimaya’s confusion. Aradhana encouraged Kimaya to trust Reyansh and his family’s judgment rather than doubt herself. Kimaya expressed her bewilderment, questioning why Reyansh, a prominent reporter, chose her when she felt inferior to Aradhana.
Just then, Reyansh arrived and complimented Kimaya, suggesting that she would look great in suits and expressing his desire to protect her rather than cause her pain. Vikram acknowledged Kimaya’s distress and apologized for the situation. Aradhana intervened, warning Kimaya that Reyansh was deceiving her. Reyansh then playfully placed glasses on Kimaya, symbolizing her authenticity, and proceeded to share a cake with her, followed by a warm hug.
