Ashok informs Shikhar that Pandey witnessed him giving the client a house tour. Enraged, Shikhar vows to take action and departs. Avani chases after him. Upon finding Pandey playing cricket, Shikhar physically assaults him as the neighbours watch in shock. Despite Avani’s attempts to intervene, he shoves her aside.
Suman advises Ashok to relax and reminds him that Shikhar handles all household matters. However, Ashok expresses concern about potentially selling their home. Suman points out that with only one son, they could struggle to survive without him and asks if Ashok wants to argue with their son or enjoy a peaceful retirement. Ashok remains silent while Shagun, overhearing the conversation, declares her allegiance to her son.
As the police arrived at the scene, they caught Shikhar attacking Pandey. Despite Avani’s pleading and explanation of their friendship, they still took him into custody. Avani quickly returned to Pandey and asked a neighbour for help getting him to the hospital. She then left in an auto. When Ritu arrived, she expressed disgust at Shikhar’s actions and planned to contact Avani. He pointed out that she had just been there, and Ritu questioned how she could leave him in such a state.
Upon reaching the police station, Avani discovers Shikhar confined in a cell. However, before she can speak to him, the inspector escorts her elsewhere. The officer informs her that they intend to press charges against Shikhar, to which Avani protests that he is not a criminal. Nevertheless, the inspector instructs her to secure bail for Shikhar.
Upon Anika’s arrival at college, Preethi inquires about the well-being of her home life. In response, Anika reveals that her mother was reprimanded. Varun then makes a derogatory remark about her family, prompting Rudra to silence him and refrain from passing judgment on Anika’s family. Dejected, Anika departs from the conversation.
Avani initially attempted to contact Shagun but abruptly ended the call as she was already on the line with Vidyut. She then called Ritu, but their conversation was cut short due to Ritu’s angry response. Realizing that one person could assist, Avani turned to Gupta and informed Suman about Shikhar’s arrest. This news alarmed Ashok, leading him to make a phone call.
Ashok arrives at the police station and shares with Avani that everything will be okay since he brought a lawyer named Vidyut. As his phone rings, he answers but quickly ends the call, which angers Shagun. Seeing Vidyut, Shikhar becomes upset, but Ashok reassures him by explaining that Vidyut is here to assist her.
Suman approaches Pandey and inquires about his well-being. Ritu informs Suman that Pandey was severely assaulted. Overcome with emotion, Suman pleads for forgiveness and urges Pandey to withdraw his complaint. However, Ritu reminds him that their self-respect cannot be compromised by constantly enduring such treatment.
As Shikhar is bailed out, Vidyut advises him to remain calm, but he rejects his gesture. On their way back home, Avani reminds Shikhar not to hold a grudge against his father.
Vidyut arrives at Suman’s place and is accompanied by Shikhar, Avani, and Ashok. Suman expresses concern for his well-being, while Shagun criticizes Vidyut for showing up. However, Ashok defends Vidyut’s actions, reminding them he was called to help save Shikhar. Vidyut brushes it off and departs from the scene. Shikhar voices his disapproval of their decision to involve Vidyut.
Avani urges him to relax. Ashok instructs him to make amends with Pandey. Avani agrees to take care of it, but Ashok insists on taking responsibility. Shikhar refuses, stating that he will not do it. Ashok reminds him that since it is his house, he must follow his rules to stay under his roof. Upon hearing this, Shikhar declares he would not reside there anymore, leaving everyone in shock.
