Meanwhile, Avani is on her way home when she’s stopped by a familiar woman, who begs her to help with her daughter’s engagement makeup since the hired artist backed out. Avani insists she isn’t a professional, but the woman emotionally appeals to her, asking what she would do if it were her own daughter. Touched by the words, Avani pauses.

Elsewhere, Suman consults an astrologer about Shagun’s future, only to receive grim predictions. He claims both Shagun and Shikhar’s futures are troubled. He adds that Shikhar will get a grand home, but it won’t be by his own efforts—his wife will be the one to fulfill that dream.

Shikhar calls Jaiswal about signing a deal but is stunned when Jaiswal backs out last minute. The deal he counted on is now gone.

Back at the woman’s house, Avani finally agrees to help and begins doing the bride-to-be’s makeup. The woman proudly shows off the artist to her brother—who turns out to be Jaiswal. He’s shocked to see Avani there. The bride, Isha, thanks Avani for making her look beautiful. The woman offers Avani ₹50,000, which she initially refuses, but Jaiswal insists she accept it as a token of gratitude. He thanks her for helping his niece and says he owes her one. Avani rushes to the rooftop and finds Shagun standing dangerously on the ledge. Shagun cries that she wants to end her life. She believes her family will be humiliated due to the divorce, and there’s nothing left for her. Avani pulls her back and hugs her tightly, begging her not to take such a drastic step. Shagun sobs that Vidyut has abandoned her and she has no strength left.

Avani, with tears in her eyes, rips the divorce papers and assures Shagun that by the end of the day, everything between her and Vidyut will be okay again.
