Bas Itna Sa Khwaab 2nd January 2025 Written Episode starts with Avani telling Vidyut that she shouldn’t have come to stay at his place. She recalls how Shikhar often scolds her in front of others but always ends up reconciling. With Shikhar’s Boomi Pujan (groundbreaking ceremony) scheduled for the next day, she worries about not ironing his kurta and tries calling him. Vidyut snatches her phone, scolding her for caring about someone who hasn’t even called her once.

Meanwhile, Shikhar attempts to iron his shirt but ends up burning his hand. He scolds Anika for not helping, but she snaps back, saying that Avani used to handle everything for him — always available without complaints. Shikhar accuses Avani of betrayal, but Anika defends her mother.

At Vidyut’s place, Avani confesses that she only helped Jaiswal to save Eisha’s big day, and never wanted to hurt Shikhar. However, Shikhar feels humiliated that she begged Jaiswal for his contract, believing he could have earned it on his own. Vidyut fuels Avani’s heartbreak by reminding her that Shikhar never called it their dream house — only his. Shikhar meanwhile tells Anika that no one understands his pain or the struggle he is going through.

Elsewhere, Suman complains about Avani to Ashok. But Ashok surprisingly defends Avani. Suman is upset, saying she supported the family her whole life and never got this backing. Ashok apologizes, but Suman says he shouldn’t break their traditional ways now. She insists that the Boomi Pujan must go on without Avani.

Later, Avani refuses food. Her mother inquires about her missing bangles, and Avani reveals she mortgaged them secretly to pay the advance for Shikhar’s office. She tries calling Anika and shares how unappreciated she feels. Anika prays to God to make Shikhar see Avani’s sacrifices.

At home, Shagun complains she has nothing to wear for the ceremony. Suman scolds her, telling her to get ready quickly. When Shagun mocks Avani and tries to leave, she accidentally sprains her leg and shatters a mirror — a bad omen, according to Suman. Though Shagun insists on going, Shikhar tells her to stay back.

The Boomi Pujan begins. Ashok says they should wait for Avani, but Shikhar stubbornly refuses, claiming he can do it alone. The priest, however, insists that the ceremony must be performed with his wife — without her, it’s incomplete.

Just then, Avani arrives. But instead of softening, Shikhar remains cold and continues the ritual alone. While digging, he unexpectedly uncovers a Kanha idol (moorthy) buried in the soil. Avani respectfully picks up the idol and suggests they build a temple there. Suddenly, a group of trust members arrive and demand the idol be handed over to them, promising compensation for the land.

Shikhar, furious at their interference, lashes out physically and beats one of the trust men.
