Bas Itna Sa Khwaab 31st December 2024 Written Episode begins with Shikhar assuring Avani that their dream house is almost a reality. He takes Ashok’s cheque and leaves, while Avani gratefully thanks Lord Kahna. Meanwhile, Shagun quietly steals Avani’s phone and messages Jaiswal, inviting him to their upcoming plot-buying ceremony, continuing her secret ploy.
As the family gets busy preparing for the New Year celebration, Ritu brings halwa. Avani mentions they still need a cake, and though it’s late, Anika somehow manages to order one. When Suman asks where Shagun is, she enters dramatically, claiming she’s working on a “big surprise,” especially for Avani.
Elsewhere, Shikhar meets Pandey, who discreetly offers him beer disguised as cold drinks to avoid suspicion.
The New Year party kicks off with a fun game led by Shagun, where each family member has to mimic someone else. Ashok hilariously mimics Suman, and she returns the favor by mimicking Shagun, earning laughter and applause. Anika imitates Ashok, and Pandey takes on Ritu. When it’s Avani’s turn, Shagun mischievously pushes her to mimic Shikhar, all while ending Jaiswal’s incoming call to Avani. Avani reluctantly participates. Then Shikhar mimics Avani, and the entire family enjoys a hearty laugh.
The celebration continues with dancing—Shikhar and Avani share a joyful dance together. Shagun, unknowingly drinking beer disguised as soda, gets tipsy. Meanwhile, Anika goes to meet the cake delivery boy and is shocked to see it’s Rudra. She quickly urges him to leave before anyone notices. Shagun walks past Rudra but doesn’t recognize him. Suspicious, she questions Anika, who covers up, saying it was just a delivery boy.
Later, Shagun drunkenly calls Vidyut and meets him in his car. She emotionally clings to him and requests a long drive. When he refuses and says he has to return home, Shagun lashes out, accusing him of choosing his mother over his wife, and walks off angrily.
As the clock nears midnight, Avani prays for the well-being and happiness of everyone. The family celebrates the New Year together with heartfelt joy and unity.
The next morning, Suman begins inviting guests for the plot pooja. Avani diligently prepares for the auspicious event. Ashok reminds Shikhar that he’s invited Vidyut’s family and tells him to be respectful. Everyone gathers outside to welcome Vidyut’s family. Avani’s mother arrives and shares an emotional hug with her daughter. She congratulates Shikhar, who acknowledges Avani’s constant support—even through simple things like packing his lunches.
Suman nudges Vidyut to start making arrangements for Shagun’s future home too. As everyone prepares for the pooja, Shagun intervenes and tells them to wait for the “perfect time,” hinting that her mysterious plan is about to unfold.
