Deewaniyat Written Update begins with Ranvijay and Gita giving emotional advice to Mannat, asking her to stay happy in Dev’s home. Ranvijay folds his hands before Dev, pleading with him to always support and care for Mannat. Dev assures him he will, and Ranvijay’s family departs.
As Dev and Mannat enter the house, Mannat notices Jeet’s photograph and breaks down emotionally. She rushes out of the house and sits crying. Meanwhile, Sakshi weeps in her room, venting her anger about being humiliated because of Mannat. Babita manipulates Sakshi further, inciting her against Mannat. Sakshi suspects that Mannat is trying to ruin Dev and vows not to let her succeed.
Tannu and Aditi arrive and ask Mannat to come with them. At the same time, Mannu returns home and disrespects Mannat. Dadu steps in, defending Mannat, and urges Mannu to go rest as she must be tired.
Elsewhere, Mayank tells Satpal about Mannu, calling her a dramatic orphan. Mannu dramatically questions Sakshi about Jeet’s death and criticizes the decision to get Mannat married to Dev. Babita intervenes and pretends to console Mannu, but soon walks in with a tray of fruits and milk for Mannat, subtly taunting her under the guise of tradition.
Dev tries to stop it, but Babita insists Mannat must perform the post-marriage rituals. Jaideep refuses to tolerate it and asks Babita to stop. However, Babita accuses him of scolding both her and Sakshi earlier, and now decides to take control of the rituals.
Babita forcefully tries to feed Mannat, who turns away in tears. Jaideep gets furious, throws the plate aside, and scolds Babita for her behavior. He comforts Mannat and assures her that he is with her. Mannat quietly leaves for her room and cries. Tannu tries to calm her down.
Dev, sensing Mannat’s pain, wonders if marrying her was a mistake. Mannat, overwhelmed, leaves the house. Dev notices her absence and goes looking for her, worried.
