The scene opens with Dev conversing with his family, but their discussion is disrupted when Jaideep arrives and inquires about Dev’s whereabouts. Suddenly, Dev decides to climb up the chandelier, catching Jaideep’s attention who angrily demands him to come down. Eventually, Dev complies and Jaideep scolds him for his reckless behavior. Meanwhile, Jeet steps in to console Dev while Jaideep advises him to change his ways. Feeling disheartened, Jeet retreats to his room as an infuriated Ranvijay observes the situation.
Mannat is reprimanded by Rani. Mannat makes a point. Ranvijay requests that Rani relax. “How did you get calm?” asks Rani. Aai requests that Rani halt it. Rudra shows up intoxicated, brandishing a rifle, and declares, “I will kill Choudhry’s because they did wrong.” According to Rani, Rudra would exact revenge because this stain is not on your clothing but rather on the family’s honor.
Dadi instructs Rani to bring Rudra and give him some lemonade. However, Rudra declines, insisting on using holy water instead of lemonade as a punishment for Dev’s unacceptable behavior towards Mannat. Swami intervenes before Rudra can follow through on his threat. Ranvijay urges Rudra to put down the gun, warning that someone could accidentally get hurt. Despite the warning, Rudra adamantly refuses to let go of his grudge against Dev. In the midst of the commotion, a gunshot shatters a nearby vase. Angered by Rudra’s recklessness, Ranvijay swiftly takes control of the situation and reprimands him for his actions.
While playing the violin, Jeet reminisces about the past. Dev arrives and proceeds to play a song before dancing in an attempt to lift Jeet’s spirits. However, Jeet remains troubled and abruptly stops the music. Despite Dev’s efforts to console him and encourage him to open up, Jeet doesn’t respond. The next morning, as Dev and his friend arrive at the temple, they spot a dejected Jeet. Concerned, Dev questions why he is avoiding him and urges him to speak up. However, Jeet sits in silence while Dev’s friend defends him and pleads for Jeet to communicate with them.
Jeet confronts Dev, saying he made a mistake and needs to leave. Dev protests, assuring Jeet he could never intentionally harm him. Jeet insists that Dev’s actions have caused pain to a girl and her father. Dev questions if Jeet is in love with the girl, Mannat. Jeet confirms his feelings for her, adding that she loves him in return. Dev chuckles, thinking it is a joke. But Jeet stands firm, maintaining that it is the truth. Dev declares it to be madness.
Jeet explains that the girl is a daughter of their father’s friend, and their childhood betrothal was ruined by a family conflict. Dev doubts this explanation, to which Jeet responds that they fell in love five years ago and only time will tell if their love can overcome the enmity. At this moment, Mannat and her friend arrive, catching Dev’s attention. He confidently declares that their love story will never come to fruition before leaving.
