Deewaniyat 20th December 2024 Written Update begins with Ranvijay requesting Sakshi to eat, but she throws a tantrum, refusing food and demanding cold water—specifically black alkaline water. Jaideep questions this sudden drama, but Ranvijay instructs Swami to get it for her. Once she receives the water, Ranvijay again insists she eat with everyone. Dev declines food, saying he’ll eat later. Jaideep assures him it’s fine.
Sakshi then orders Gita to let the men eat first, followed by the women, and tells her to bring Mannat along. Gita agrees and goes to fetch her. Meanwhile, Dev is on a call with Satpal, expressing his guilt for Mannat’s situation. When Gita asks him to eat, he repeats he isn’t hungry. Upstairs, Mannat cries alone. Gita tries to convince her to come downstairs for food.
Back at the dining area, Sakshi points out Dev hasn’t eaten yet. Anu confirms it. Sakshi insists the women should wait. Gita complies. Tannu warns Mannat not to cause any drama. Anu calls Dev, while Babita and Anu push Mannat and Dev to eat together. Mannat suspects Dev is behind the entire setup.
Adding to Mannat’s humiliation, Anu and Babita suggest she eat Dev’s leftover food as it’s considered auspicious. Tears well up in Mannat’s eyes. Dev, feeling overwhelmed, apologizes to her in front of everyone. Babita urges Mannat to eat, but Dev demands they stop this drama. Mannat runs off in tears.
Dev follows her and again apologizes. But Mannat lashes out, blaming him for Jeet’s death. Gita finds her sobbing and comforts her. She gently tells Mannat that she can’t avoid rituals forever and encourages her to open her heart to Dev.
