Deewaniyat 21st December 2024 Written Update opens with Mannat emotionally declaring she can’t go through with this anymore. Gita tries to convince her that Sakshi’s expectations aren’t unreasonable, but Mannat reminds her that she never wanted this marriage and warns she’ll return home if Sakshi continues to pressure her.

Just then, Ranvijay enters and asks what happened. Mannat, in tears, requests to stay back for a day. Gita initially refuses, but Ranvijay supports Mannat’s request. She hugs him. He informs the family that Mannat wants to stay at her maternal home for a day. Jaideep agrees, even extending the stay to two days. Dadu suggests Dev should also stay with Mannat, but Dev declines. Jaideep insists Mannat is his wife and should be with him. Dev awkwardly says he doesn’t have clothes, prompting Dadu to offer to send them.

Ranvijay suggests checking with Sakshi. Jaideep assures him and tells Sakshi about the plan. She protests, stating that the pagphere rasam is complete only when the bride returns to her in-laws’ home. Jaideep reassures her, but she insists Dev must return with them. Ranvijay supports Dev staying, saying he grew up there. Dadu sides with them and reminds Sakshi that Jaideep had once stayed at her maternal home too. He tells Dev and Mannat they can visit whenever they want. The family leaves, letting the newlyweds stay behind.

Dev later talks to Satpal over the phone, and Satpal encourages him to enjoy the time. Falak and Leher invite Dev for food, but he refuses. Leher lashes out, blaming him for Jeet’s death and says Mannat wasn’t at fault. Dev breaks down, acknowledging his mistake and regretting the marriage. He lays down, overwhelmed with guilt.

Ranvijay watches Dev quietly and reflects that someday Mannat will see the goodness in him, realizing that Dev is the right man for her.

Mannat, lost in grief, thinks of Jeet and imagines hearing his voice. She walks out of her room calling for Jeet. Dev hears her and follows. Mannat runs aimlessly, crying out for Jeet, and collides with a table. Dev realizes she’s sleepwalking. He gently clears the broken vase pieces and tries to stop her. When he calls her name, she regains consciousness and scolds him for touching her. Dev tries to help her back to the room, but she screams.

Ranvijay arrives and sees Dev holding her. He yells at him to let go. The family gathers. Mannat runs to Gita and claims Dev was forcing her to come to his room.
