Deewaniyat 22nd December 2024 Written Update begins with Ranvijay confronting Dev, asking him to stay away from Mannat. Mannat tells Gita that Dev tried to force her into returning to his room. Ranvijay sends Mannat away with her sisters. Chandra Tai expresses disappointment in Dev, stating she never expected this from him and reminds him of how much Mannat has already suffered. Dev is disheartened, thinking he wasn’t trying to force Mannat.
Falak and Sehat serve tea to Dev but start accusing him of what transpired the previous night. Soon after, Satpal visits Dev and joins the chorus of blame, warning him about what will happen once Jaideep finds out. Dev pleads with Satpal to hear him out and explains that he didn’t force Mannat. Dev admits that Falak’s version isn’t entirely wrong but lacks the full context.
He recounts to Satpal how Mannat was sleepwalking and calling out for Jeet. As she ran aimlessly, she collided with a table, and Dev stopped her to prevent injury. He says he was only trying to protect her, but unfortunately, the family arrived at the wrong time. Satpal, realizing the truth, apologizes to Dev, who forgives him. Unknown to them, Ranvijay overhears the conversation.
Moved by what he hears, Ranvijay tells Dev that he always believed in his intentions and that one day, Mannat will also see his truth. He acknowledges Dev’s pure heart and tells him that he made the right choice in choosing him as Mannat’s husband.
Meanwhile, Rudra meets Mannat and reminds her of her love for Jeet, claiming that Dev and Ranvijay ruined her life by marrying her off. Mannat firmly tells Rudra to stay in his limits and out of her life. Seeing her defend Dev, Rudra suspects she has begun to develop feelings for him. Furious, Rudra vows to kill Dev and keep Mannat away from him at any cost.
Elsewhere, Rani blames Gita and Ranvijay for sending Mannat into the “devil’s house,” claiming whatever happens now is Mannat’s destiny. Ranvijay apologizes to Rani for not inviting her to the wedding. Rudra sarcastically tells Ranvijay he saw him as a father figure and was ready to marry Mannat, yet Ranvijay chose Dev. Dev calmly responds that he’s open to meeting his wife’s former suitor.
Rudra introduces himself and congratulates Dev, but Dev firmly grips his hand during the handshake, making Rudra visibly uncomfortable. Rani intervenes, asking Dev to release Rudra. Dev warns that Rudra will remember this handshake. As Rani escorts Rudra away, Ranvijay proudly declares that Dev was the right choice for Mannat and informs the family that everything is fine now.
When Chandra Tai tries to remind Ranvijay of last night’s incident, he dismisses it, defending Dev. He reveals to the family how Dev protected Mannat and was wrongly accused. He asks for their opinion, and Gita confirms that Dev is a good man. Ranvijay acknowledges Dev’s role in shielding Mannat from the forced first night ritual. Chandra Tai wishes to apologize to Dev, but when he arrives, he humbly refuses the apology. She praises him, calling him their family’s savior.
