Deewaniyat 28th December 2024 Written Episode opens with Tannu questioning Dev about his actions. She asks why he risked his life when he could have simply gone to his room and stayed away. Dev replies that he didn’t want to commit a sin by forcing Mannat into something against her will. He says her dignity would have been shattered and he had to protect it.
Tannu is overwhelmed and tells Dev that this side of him is new to her. She calls Mannat the luckiest woman to have a partner who would go to such lengths for her respect, even though others call her unfortunate. Dev insists that no one should find out about what happened. Just then, they notice Jaideep and Dadu standing at the door, and Dev worries they might have overheard the conversation.
Jaideep, in tears, says he cannot imagine what would have happened if Dev had died. Dev assures him he is fine. Jaideep praises Dev for risking his life to protect Mannat and admits he had misjudged him. Dadu adds that Jeet would have been proud. Jaideep promises to question Sakshi and Babita for their behavior, but Dev stops him. He warns that if they get angry, they will take it out on Mannat. He swears on Jeet’s name that he will always protect Mannat.
Dev then expresses his concern for Alisha. He regrets not calling her and says she must feel betrayed. Just then, Alisha arrives and confronts him. She accuses him of deceiving her. Dev tries to calm her, but she pushes him, causing him pain. Satpal steps in and tells her to calm down as Dev is injured.
Alisha demands answers, suggesting Dev is afraid that Mannat might discover the truth about them. Meanwhile, Mannat spots Tannu and asks what’s going on. Dev falls back slightly, and Alisha notices his injured hand. Shocked, she asks about his condition. Satpal informs her that Dev fell from the terrace. She becomes emotional and apologizes for yelling. She hugs Dev, who then gently asks her to go home and rest. She reluctantly agrees and leaves.
Elsewhere, Babita and Anu try to humiliate Mannat by asking her to wash Dev’s clothes. Mannat refuses, but Babita insists. Dev arrives and stands up for Mannat, telling Babita he will wash his own clothes. He even stops the servant from doing it and says Mannat will not do anything unwillingly. Anu leaves in frustration.
Dev and Mannat begin washing the clothes separately. Dev struggles due to his injury, and Mannat watches silently. Sakshi shows up and offers help, but Dev refuses. She then insults Mannat, but Mannat stays firm and says she won’t comply with their wishes. Dev reiterates that Mannat is his responsibility and walks away. While stepping down from a ladder, Dev stumbles and grabs onto Mannat for support.
