Deewaniyat 5th December 2024 Written Episode begins with an ambulance arriving at the resort. Everyone looks on with concern as Dev steps out, his clothes stained with blood. Sakshi and Alisha rush to him, demanding to know what happened. Jaideep, too, questions Dev, while Sakshi anxiously asks about Jeet’s whereabouts. Dev silently turns around, and the hospital staff brings out Jeet’s lifeless body on a stretcher. The shocking sight leaves everyone in utter disbelief, while Rudra watches on with a smirk.
As the family mourns Jeet’s untimely death, Rudra thinks to himself that Jeet, who took Mannat away from him, has now left her behind. Overcome with grief, Mannat runs to Jeet, while Sakshi and Jaideep desperately call out to him, hoping it’s all a bad dream. Satpal regrets letting them leave the previous night.
Ranvijay, deeply angered, accuses Dev of abandoning Mannat. Dadu questions Dev about how everything happened. Sakshi demands to know why Dev took Jeet out. Dev reveals that they had gone out for some urgent work, but on their way back, they met with an accident and fell into a lake—where a crocodile attacked them.
Jaideep, devastated, lashes out at Dev, blaming him for Jeet’s death. Dev pleads his innocence, insisting he tried to stop Jeet, but Jaideep refuses to listen. Enraged, Jaideep disowns Dev, throwing him out and declaring that he is no longer part of the family. Dev is left crying outside while everyone inside mourns Jeet.
During Jeet’s funeral, Mannat recalls their moments together. Meanwhile, some women gossip about the tragedy, making the family even more upset. Rudra, however, sees this as an opportunity, vowing never to let Mannat cry again.
Outside, Dev stands heartbroken at the gate. Satpal and Alisha approach him, trying to console him. Dev laments that he was kept away from Jeet’s final moments despite trying to save him. Inside, Mannat and her family overhear the gossip. Gita furiously shuts down the women, defending Mannat and Jeet’s love, declaring that fate, not Mannat’s character, is to blame.
The priest calls Jaideep to perform the final rites, but Dev is absent. Ranvijay volunteers to lift the funeral bier when suddenly, Dev rushes in, pleading to see Jeet one last time. Dadu urges Jaideep to allow Dev to be part of the final rites, but Jaideep, consumed with grief, refuses. Dev breaks down, begging not to be separated from Jeet in his final journey. Alisha and Satpal try to reason with Jaideep, saying Dev was ready to sacrifice his life for Jeet. However, Jaideep, blinded by anger, orders Dev to leave. Sakshi and the rest of the family weep as Dev stands shattered.
