The episode of Deewaniyat 6th December 2024 Written Episode begins with Jaideep preventing Dev from attending Jeet’s funeral. As Jeet’s final rites take place, Mannat, overwhelmed with grief, collapses while the family tries to console her. Jaideep and the others proceed with the cremation, leaving Dev heartbroken.
Struggling to process the tragedy, Dev holds Jeet’s ring and reminisces about their last conversation. He recalls Jeet, lying in the hospital, urging him to take care of Mannat. Despite Dev’s reassurance that Jeet would always be there for her, Jeet succumbed to his injuries, leaving Dev in shock and despair.
Meanwhile, Alisha notices Dev’s pain and decides to support him. On the other hand, Rudra, delighted by Jeet’s demise, drinks in celebration. Rani confronts him, questioning his involvement in Jeet’s death. Initially, Rudra feigns innocence, but soon, he confesses with a sinister laugh that he orchestrated Jeet’s murder to keep Mannat for himself. Rani is horrified, fearing the consequences. Rudra reassures her that only they, along with Rishi, know the truth and that the blame would fall on the crocodile attack. He warns her to remain silent, leaving her shaken.
In another scene, Jawaan consoles Dadu and Jaideep, reminiscing about Jeet’s kind nature. Dadu, devastated by his grandson’s death, struggles to come to terms with reality. Meanwhile, Alisha pleads with Dadu to recognize Dev’s suffering. She insists that Dev is wrongly accused and deeply shattered, urging Dadu to stand by him.
Elsewhere, Mannat remains unconscious due to the emotional trauma. The doctor advises the family that she needs time to recover rather than hospitalization. Gita, worried about Mannat’s condition, fears the worst.
Dev, drowning in sorrow, believes he has lost everything. Satpal and Mayank try to console him, but he remains inconsolable, blaming himself and wishing to reunite with Jeet in death. Dadu arrives, stopping Dev from spiraling further. Dev expresses his pain, recalling Jaideep’s harsh accusations. Dadu, however, reassures him, saying that while others may not believe him, he knows the truth—Jeet’s death was not Dev’s fault.
