During Deepika’s dikhayi ceremony, she was taken aback to find makeup on her hand. She soon realized that Jhanvi had intentionally concealed her face after the makeup application. With a satisfied expression, Lavanya informed Shekhawat that they could finally meet their new daughter-in-law, who always strives for perfection. Payal lifted Deepika’s veil, and she was shocked to see makeup on her face. Despite Payal’s attempt to remove it, Deepika insisted on keeping it as a sign of Lavanya’s blessings. Impressed by her composure, Payal commended Deepika for her patience and considered it a blessing for their family.
When Deepika sees Roshni drowning in the swimming pool, she runs and jumps to save her. Payal thanked Deepika, and the guests discussed the family’s carelessness in not noticing Roshni drowning. Mrs. Shekhawat notices Deepika’s dark skin tone, and she taunts Lavanya for rejecting her daughter for Chirag and getting a dark-skinned girl instead. Guests discuss that Lavanya would not do that if it were a love marriage. Shekawat continues to insult Lavanya.
Deepika confronts Mrs Shekhawat for insulting her mother-in-law. However, Mrs Shekhawat counters that Lavanya would never accept a dark-skinned girl into her family and asks Deepika to stop supporting her. Deepika reminds everyone that God created people with different skin tones, and it is not their place to question His choices. Chirag also stands up for Deepika, mentioning how the guests praised Lavanya’s features earlier but are now criticizing her skin colour. This causes Mrs Shekhawat to feel insulted, and she leaves. The family then commends Deepika for standing up for Roshni and preserving Lavanya’s dignity.
At night, Lavanya breaks things, recalling Mrs Shekhawat insulting her. Deepika walks up to her and apologizes. Chirag rushes to her and stops her from apologizing. She compares Lavanya’s makeup application to goggles to protect their eyes from sunlight. When Jhanvi thinks Lavanya will praise her, she calls Lavanya. Lavanya scolds her for not getting waterproof makeup on Deepika. She then proposes a plan and calls someone to meet her shortly.
