Lavanya angrily scolds Deepika, insisting that nobody will believe her, and demands that she leave the house. She even attempts to strike Deepika. However, Deepika stands her ground and asserts that she is only there to clear her name. She asks Jhanvi for a chance to speak. Despite this, Lavanya continues to yell. Omkar interjects, urging Lavanya to allow Jhanvi to speak. Just then, Chirag and Mishka enter, and Chirag confronts Lavanya, questioning whether their family can even go for a day without drama. He urges her to let Jhanvi speak. Finally, Jhanvi opens up and takes responsibility for her mistake, admitting that she accidentally took an overdose of sleeping pills. She sincerely apologizes to Lavanya, but unfortunately, Lavanya remains unforgiving.
Chirag inquires why Jhanvi did not disclose the truth despite numerous opportunities. Jhanvi explains that she was scared and did not want to appear foolish on her initial day at her new family’s home. Chirag persists in saying that Jhanvi apologizes to Deepika by touching her feet. Jhanvi humbly offers her apologies to Deepika while holding her feet. Deepika then lifts her and reassures her that as an elder sister, she can confide in her before her jethani, or older sister-in-law, and share anything with her.
Prithvi apologizes to Deepika, who then raises the issue with Mishka. She asks why Mishka didn’t inform the family about the sleeping pill overdose, even though she had prior knowledge of it. Mishka explained that he didn’t want to embarrass Deepika’s best friend’s family in front of everyone and thought the problem would be resolved once the report was received at home.
Omkar commends Deepika for her courageous deed and declares that their elder daughter-in-law will lead the Ravan Dahan ritual. Lavanya protests, stating that only family members are allowed to perform it. Omkar reminds her that Deepika holds the title of their elder daughter-in-law, and his ruling stands. Neelima suggests Chirag join Deepika in performing Ravan Dahan. Despite feeling resentful towards Deepika, Chirag ultimately participates in the ritual with her.
Deepika inquires if Chirag is upset with her. He confirms she did not think to contact him when she needed help. Deepika explained that he was occupied with surgery, and she did not want to interrupt him. Chirag wonders if she would have reacted the same way if he had failed to notify her in a time of need. Deepika offers her apologies, but he does not seem receptive.
Prithvi approaches Jhanvi about her role in making him question Deepika. She successfully persuades him with her emotional tactics. Mishka informs Deepika that Chirag is easily agitated and only listens to her, so she will try to calm him down. However, Deepika cautions her not to interfere in matters between husband and wife and advises them to handle it themselves.
