Deepika informs Chirag that she cannot comprehend him for the first time, leading her to believe they are not on the same team. Manorama consoles a weeping Shobha upon learning that Lavanya and Prithvi’s engagement will occur elsewhere. Jhanvi vows to seek revenge as she cannot let Lavanya get away with this. Lavanya approaches a tearful Prithvi and instructs him to wash his face and attend the engagement. Prithvi says he cannot shed tears without her approval before heading to the bathroom. Lavanya reassures herself she is making these decisions for her son’s promising future as his mother.
Deepika tells Chirag he always does everything perfectly and thinks what’s best for everyone, but he cannot convince his mother of Prithvi and Jhanvi’s wedding. Chirag says even she should back off since whatever happens suits Prithvi. When Prithvi hears this, he thinks Chirag also thinks he is unfit for Jhanvi, so he agrees to the engagement and walks to the venue.
Lavanya requests Prithvi to exchange rings with Nikita. He does so, and their engagement is now complete. Lavanya proudly congratulates her business associates, who thank Lavanya and Omkar for accepting them into their family. To give the new couple some privacy, Lavanya asks Prithvi to go on a long drive with Nikita and sends him off. Prithvi reluctantly leaves. Deepika tries to persuade Lavanya to consider what will genuinely make Prithvi happy. However, Lavanya quickly shuts her down, calling her a weed in the garden of their family that she wants to get rid of. She explains that she only intends to protect Prithvi from Deepika and her sister. Observing this exchange, Chirag notices Lavanya’s hurtful words towards Deepika.
When Jhanvi notices Prithvi driving a car with Nikita, she follows them. As Prithvi is in deep pain, Saloni feels terrible for him and says she will not fight with him again. Payal thinks she should make him feel normal. Omkar confronts Lavanya for forcibly engaging Prithvi without seeking his opinion. Lavanya says she does not need anyone’s opinion because she knows what she is doing.
She asks her family to support Lavanya until she gets there, and Neelima says she doesn’t need to do anything alone. Deepika confronts Chirag for not supporting Prithvi. Chirag believes whatever happened is best for Prithvi because of Jhanvi’s heinous act. According to Deepika, only Prithvi can change Jhanvi’s life for the better and continue to put emotional pressure on Chirag.
