The episode starts with Chirag telling Lavanya that Chandu, also known as Chandini, is a self-respecting yet stubborn girl. Lavanya notes that she’s just like him. After Chirag leaves, Deepika comes out from her hiding place and asks Lavanya if she enjoyed the dish. Lavanya praises it and shares that while Ragini dislikes her food, she loves Deepika’s cooking. Deepika admits feeling an emotional connection with Ragini, and Lavanya secretly thinks it’s because Ragini is actually Deepika’s daughter.
Meanwhile, Jahnvi speaks to her mother on the phone, revealing that she found out about her pregnancy just a day ago and that Deepika has returned today. She’s unsure how to handle the situation. Prithvi hugs her and expresses joy over the baby and Deepika’s return, but Jahnvi complains that he’s more worried about others than her.
Later, Lavanya offers Deepika money and a dress for Chandu, but Deepika refuses. Jahnvi mocks her, saying she should accept it since she’s broke. Deepika requests only blessings from Lavanya, who agrees but insists on gifting something to her granddaughter. Deepika finally accepts just the dress. As Deepika prepares to leave, Ragini offers her a tiffin box. Deepika departs, while Mishka instructs her aide to locate the DNA report.
At the party, Chirag helps himself to the buffet, and Lavanya insists he try the ghevar. As soon as he tastes it, he says it tastes just like Deepika’s version. Lavanya says it was prepared by Ragini’s friend SM, while inwardly thinking that Deepika still resides in Chirag’s heart—and that he will eventually accept her again.
Back home, Deepika offers ghevar to Chandu, who complains about having dal chawal on New Year’s Eve. Chandu gleefully celebrates the New Year with the sweet treat. Meanwhile, Chirag comes across the DNA report in his file but sets it aside when a call interrupts him. Omkar brings him ghevar, but Chirag declines and leaves. Omkar senses Chirag still loves Deepika and believes reconciliation is inevitable.
The next day, Omkar and Neelima decide to help Deepika financially and come up with a plan to organize a flower decoration competition with prize money, hoping it’ll benefit her.
Later, Deepika dresses Chandu in the gift Lavanya gave. She slips and mentions that it was from Chandu’s grandmother. Chandu excitedly assumes Deepika met her grandma and possibly her father. Deepika remembers seeing Chirag but avoids revealing the truth.
Deepika heads to the hospital to collect her medical reports and is shocked to find Chirag’s name on the consent form. She questions the nurse about why she had lied earlier about Chirag not being there. The nurse fumbles nervously.
Chirag arrives at the hospital, uncertain about his reasons for being there. The doctor questions him, and Chirag replies that he just came to check on patient Deepika. When the doctor brings him to the reception, Chirag and Deepika are stunned to see each other. The nurse tells Deepika she’s lucky to have Chirag—a senior surgeon—as her husband, someone who was deeply worried for her when she was unconscious and who still loves her immensely.
