Deepika’s dupatta becomes entangled in her hair as they begin to clean the outhouse. Chirag quickly untangles it and removes her jewellery for her. She suggests they start cleaning, and he agrees to do half the work. She tells their deity that her husband seems eager to shirk his responsibilities. Chirag playfully grabs her from behind and promises to do half the work and make sure she does all of hers. They both express gratitude to their god for blessing them with such a loving partner as their romantic conversation continues.
Jhanvi repeatedly calls Chirag, to whom Deepika asks to answer the phone, as it could be from his hospital. He answers the call, and a frantic Jhanvi demands that he confess to pretending to be married to Deepika to punish her. Chirag responds that he already knew she was unstable, but she confirmed it today. Jhanvi retorts that Chirag can’t possibly live with a rejected partner like Deepika. Chirag questions why he would want to upset his mother for someone as unstable as Jhanvi. He clarifies that she will never be allowed near his family again and asks her not to bother him on his wedding night.
As Chirag sees Deepika, he becomes tense. Deepika asks why he hasn’t informed her that he has pending work at the hospital. Chirag relaxes. He gets romantic with her. The power goes out. Chirag says the generator is fixed even to the outhouse and goes out to check. Lavanya orders the servant not to revoke the power supply and shows her hatred of Deepika once again.
He takes Deepika to the outhouse. Deepika feels sorry that Chirag is facing difficulties because of her, but Chirag cheers her up with his wit. She lights the temple lamp and says he has to sleep without air conditioning because of her. He says he used to sleep without even a shelter during medical camps.
Deepika sings a song called “Ek Pyar Ka Nagma Hai” and makes Chirag fall asleep. Lavanya can’t sleep because of her hatred of Deepika. Omkar encourages her to try to sleep. Lavanya says she sees Deepika when she closes her eyes. Omkar, concerned for her, tries to calm her down, but she, as usual, uses emotional blackmail to gain his sympathy. Drama continues…
