She doesn’t let Deepika bring her mother’s picture inside the new house and tells her to unload her luggage from the truck. As Deepika brooms the house, Shobha yells at her as usual and pampers Janvi. She then asks Yashwant to bring pooja items to perform grihapravesh pooja. Deepika says her papa did not sleep well and is tired, so she will bring it to him.
When Shobha hands over her money, she demands a bill for every item. Upon arriving at the market, Deepika is accidentally splashed with water by a shopkeeper, and her money gets wet. Chotu, an employee at the grocery store, gets into an argument with the shopkeeper and is reprimanded by the owner. Deepika then gives Chotu a list of items she needs for a pooja and asks him to pack them. After Chotu had finished packing, Deepika handed over her payment to the owner. However, he refuses to accept it, citing that it is wet. Despite Deepika’s explanation that she was splashed by water from a neighboring shop, the owner refuses to take the money and dismisses her.
Distressed, Deepika rides her scooter when Chotu intercepts and offers to give her some groceries. However, Deepika reminds him that she hasn’t paid for them yet. Chotu then reveals that Saheb’s kind doctor has already taken care of the payment and points out that Chirag is approaching them. The shop owner chimes in, acknowledging that Deepika had not mentioned knowing the doctor. In response, she clarified that Chirag had never mentioned it either. The owner compliments Chirag’s benevolent nature, while Deepika admits she cannot pay immediately. Understanding her situation, Chirag reassures her that she can pay whenever possible. As Deepika reflects on her financial struggles, Chirag bids farewell with a smile before she drives off with a smile of her own.
Before Yashwant, Janvi boasted about her new bungalow and explained how old and worn his house was. His home is gifted, and the person who gifted it can return it anytime. Her only achievement is becoming Ms Rajasthan, Yashwant says. He never sees her achievements and praises only Deepika. Yashwant says Deepika doesn’t think about only herself but about her entire family. Janvi leaves feeling jealous.
After a while, Janvi inquires with Shobha if Lavanya has been invited to the grihapravesh pooja. Shobha confirms that Lavanya should be asked and suggests calling her “mummy ji.” Janvi reached out to Lavanya but has not received a response. Shobha then tries to contact Lavanya herself. When Lavanya answers, she asks who is calling. Shobha introduces herself as Janvi’s mother and invites her to the pooja. However, Lavanya points out that Janvi is not officially her daughter-in-law yet. Nevertheless, Shobha extends the invitation and explains that it is for Janvi’s sake. Despite some rambling from Shobha, Lavanya hangs up the call after accepting the invitation.
Guests gather for the grahpravesh pooja. Shobha shows her friends her lavish house. Janvi’s friend informs her that the house is very large and asks if Chirag spoke to her. Janvi warns her not to mention Chirag, or she will muffle it. The pooja starts. Panditji asks Deepika for the Ganga Jal. Shobha refuses to let her sit in the pooja. Deepika brings the Ganga Jal.
Yashwant tries to convince her, but when he fails, he refuses to sit in pooja without Deepika. Deepika convinces him to sit in pooja, and she cries while sitting alone in her room. While sitting in his cabin, Chirag gets lost in Deepika’s thoughts. His colleagues ask him who he dreams about and if the girl is prettier than Prithvi’s fiance. Chirag laughs with them and diverts the conversation.
