The devotees ask Lavanya to perform pooja in the temple. Deepika lights a lamp and performs god’s aarti. Bodyguards cruise Lavanya inside the temple. Lavanya shouts, who lit the lamp. Deepika turns to look at her.
Lavanya shouts how dare she is to light the lamp before her. She recalls Deepika as Janvi’s maid and shouts where she got this courage. Deepika says one needs devotion, not courage, to pray to god. Lavanya scolds her manager for letting a maid inside the temple before her. After tongue-lashing Panditji for failing to follow her orders, she tongue-lashed him.
According to Panditji, everything is part of god’s plan. Instead of dwelling on it, she should focus on performing pooja. Lavanya proudly mentions that her family is responsible for constructing this temple; thus, she has the privilege of conducting the pooja there. However, Deepika believes that just as a builder does not receive ownership of a house they have built, the temple belongs to the deity residing within it and not to those who built it. As such, everyone has an equal right to pray at any time. Lavanya angrily orders Deepika to leave. After realizing his mistake in inviting her and asking her to leave, Panditji apologizes to Deepika. In response, Deepika assures him that it’s alright as she doesn’t want any conflicts arising because of her presence.
Despite repeatedly calling Chirag, he rejects her. She panics and screams that she will get him no matter what. When Janvi travels in an auto, she thinks she shouldn’t have spoken so much and hopes Lavanya won’t scold Shobha and Deepika and cancel the alliance because of her. Then, she wonders why anyone would cancel the alliance because of a maid. Walking to Chirag’s medical camp, she hears him speak over a mic.
Chirag promotes eye donation. After getting annoyed with Janvi’s repeated calls, he turns to see Deepika standing in front of him and calms down. Deepika says she came to return his 1200 rupees. He doesn’t think she needs it. She says he told her she could return it once she received the money, so she doesn’t want to be in debt. He accepts money.
She says she wants to donate her eyes, as he heard her beautiful thoughts and was impressed with them. She sits and says she can fill out this form, and he can get back to his work. He insists that she fill it out. A fan flies her hair in the air. He sits mesmerized and praises her deep, white eyes. She says no one has ever praised her so much. They continue their conversation.
