Shebha warns Yashwant that the daughter of his first wife is a danger to her daughter, and she won’t let it ruin her daughter’s life. To keep going with the drama at their house, Lavanya asks Prithvi to take Deepika from here, or she will not know what to do. Prithvi asks her to remember him, as he loves Jhanvi dearly. As Lavanya says she has no idea, Shobha pleads with Chirag to convince his mother. Omkar then requests him, followed by Deepika. Chirag approaches Lavanya. She says Chirag knows that her elder son understands her and, holding her hand, is trying to leave the venue. Chirag stops her and asks her to agree to this marriage.
She reminds Shobha of her promise and asks her to act on it. Lavanya agrees to Prithvi and Jhanvi’s marriage but asks that she never sees Deepika’s face again. Shobha does. He says she is doing injustice to his daughter. Deepika reassures him that Jhanvi’s tilak ceremony will happen and promises Lavanya that she will fulfill her mother’s promise. Chirag feels sad when she leaves the venue.
In the evening, Deepika sadly plays flute in her house’s corridor. Yashwant approaches her, and she inquires about the tilak ritual and her mother’s well-being. He reveals that she is concerned for someone who constantly belittles her. He also expresses his frustration with Lavanya’s derogatory behavior. Deepika presents him with a rose, remarking on its beauty. Yashwant corrects her and states it is a rose, not a marigold. In response, Deepika points out that just as a flower’s identity doesn’t change depending on what it’s called, her identity remains unaltered by Lavanya’s discriminatory remarks.
As Chirag discussed Deepika’s humiliation yesterday with Prithvi, Prithvi said Deepika made an error by not telling the truth when they visited her and choosing to be a maid for her own family. According to Chirag, Deepika sacrificed her dignity for her family, and Lavanya humiliated her multiple times. Lavanya hears them and interferes.
In her mobile, Jhanvi sees Chirag’s picture. Shobha calls her to inform her daughter that she is keeping her Jeth/BIL’s picture instead of her husband’s. Manorama snatches her phone and is shocked. She says it’s wrong. Jhanvi says Chirag is her friend; she was editing engagement pictures. Manorama says Jeth is like an elder brother and father figure; she should respect Chirag accordingly.
Shobha is reminded of her promise by Jhanvi, who blames Deepika for yesterday’s drama. Deepika will be sent to a hostel, says Shobha. In response, Yashwant says she will see her dead face if she sends Deepika from this house, which also belongs to Deepika. Argument ensues. Manorama suggests that he marry Deepika in a week and send her away.
