As Deepika struggles to break free from Birju’s grasp, a voice is heard, and she quickly calls for help. Chirag responds to her cries and forcefully pulls Birju off of her. Shobha, Jhanvi, and Manorama prepare to leave the Mittal residence, but Lavanya requests Jhanvi to stay longer. However, Jhanvi explains that she needs to go to the gym because she believes in caring for her health. Prithvi interjects by stating that he prioritizes his health and has already acquired great wealth. Jhanvi inquires about Chirag’s whereabouts, prompting Lavanya to call him and learn that he may have gone to the hospital.
Then Birju overpowers Chirag, saying he is Deepika’s future husband. Chirag kicks him away and beats him again, saying that no matter who he is, he cannot touch a woman without her consent. As Birju escapes, he thinks he will not spare Deepika and Chirag. In shock, Deepika hugs Chirag tightly, to which Chirag reciprocates. In light of her papa’s coming soon, he offers her water and asks her to relax.
Yashwant returns home and is shocked to see the condition of the house and Deepika. Yashwant asks Deepika what happened here. Deepika says Birju. Chirag asks if he enquired well about Birju. He says he inquired about Birju’s neighbors and shopkeeper, who all gave him positive feedback. He blames himself for not asking more about Birju.
He should not blame himself since Deepika said he did his duty well. Chirag comforts Yashwant and says he is a good father and shouldn’t blame himself. He recalls Shobha’s evil plan and asks Yashwant not to listen to anyone, never letting Birju near Deepika again. He says Deepika is a pure-hearted girl and is his pride, but he gave her hand to the wrong man.
Chirag asks him to send Birju’s photo and address so he can file a police complaint against him and forward it to the police inspector. Deepika brings first-aid to nurse his hand injury. Chirag asks if she will consult a doctor. Deepika says she is just trying. Chirag saved her from Birju in time, and she always protected her dignity and never thought terrible for anyone.
As he drives away, he imagines Deepika in his car. The title track of Serial plays in the background, and he realizes how much he loves her.
